GTAGuy
For those that haven't noticed, the definition toggle button (P) toggles the depth of field distance blurring effect that the 360 version has, and also toggles the per-pixel motion blur as well. When I started playing, I noticed something was missing when driving my car fast, and realized the sense of speed wasn't quite there like it was with the motion blur, so I'm glad they gave us the option to toggle it on and off. The depth of field blur isn't quite as bad as it was on the 360, given the higher resolutions that the PC version runs at. It even serves as rudimentary sort of AA, smoothing out hard jagged edges. apoc_reg
Hmm sounds good, surprised thats not in the readme. so is it one press for on another for off or are there several states?!
coppyslock
The 360's blur is better, the PC's blurs the entire screen up close and makes it look like I've just drank a bottle of meths .
Ramzy
The blur on the PC version makes the game look like a permanently out-of-focus video... Doesn't look anything like the 360 version. I have played both the 360 and PC version on the same monitor, at the same distance from my screen. It's a shame because the motion blur effects are nice. Maybe there'll be a way to remove the depth of field / blur, but still retain motion blur.
