PC controls?

I havent even started playing yet and this is already a mess. It installed about a hour ago, then i had to install some windows live thing, some social club thing and it keeps nagging me to sign up for it, some MS visual C++ thingy, then finally i get to the main screen of the game. I chose options, but theres no way to change the controls! And im a left hand mouser so i dont use no w,a,s,d to move around, my configuration is very different than game defaults. All i can find to do is invert the mouse. And when i hit control configuration it brings up one of them gay console controllers. WTF???????????

You can do it, I forget the name of the option but its under options, controls, contol mapping or something like that...

 

I dont like the WSAD keys for driving so i changed them to the arrow keys and the mobile phone to the + button on numpad.

What I want is a way to map "Mouse Button 5" (The side thumb button on my Razor Copperhead) to "Enter/Exit Vehicle" like I had set up in San Andreas. Apparently in game, at least in the menus, it acts like the back button in internet explorer. If I go to control mapping and try to click in when I select the command, the game doesn't recognise it.

 

I suppose I could remap the button through the Razor config tools, but I shouldn't have to. Almost every game in the last 5 years let's you use all the extra mouse buttons (My Razer has 7 total) except this one.
