Ceano
I have installed Windows Live and everything but when i try to log in through the game it says that my LIVE ID does not exist or the password is incorrect, i do write the login correct and password because i can login to Windows Live through explorer without any problem. What the hell is wrong?
redriot
I have the same problem as Nightcrawler, I cannot download the english language hotfix, because I use Hungarian WinXP SP3. Anyway, I registered to Win Live. I registered with a fake american address, because Hungary is not supported by Win Live. I can login in a browser, but not in-game, it says I'm from a region not supported. What the f*ck, I paid for this f*ckin game, and I want to save my f*ckin single-player progress in it -> why on Earth have I to register to this WinLive sh*t? I have to buy a powerfull top-of-the-line PC to run it with good fps. Do I have to immigrate to USA to be able to save my game progress?!?

Ceano
I did solve my problem, i had to make a new Windows Live account because the password i had to the other one had a "backslash" in it, and that did not work with the in-game login to Windows Live. Straubinger82
WTF? I have such a problem too. Cannot connect to Windows Live... My error: 80048265 A window pops up, telling I have to hotfix my XP. When I click on that... I can download a hotfix, related to a totally fifferent errorcode! So why the hell should I do that? Oh, and I get the "language error" too, and I am from germany. And when I can read here.. it would not work? What on Zeuss fat azz they have done to us? Why are we treated like that? For what I have taken freetime... for that? I made some jokes a couple of weeks ago... about Rockstar is implementing some crazy MS-Tools and thats why the release date would be reorganized. Note... I am an absolute nonprofessionell pc-user! I did not believe my own sh*t... and now I am totally confused by that. Have signed in a 2nd time to WindowsLive and had no problems... till I try it inGame. I haven´t found an info related to my errorcode... Anyone got help for me?
