However I noticed that when i played bowling during one mission, at the point that it says to use mouse and move back and forward to throw, my guy never does anything. I've tried doing it while holding mouse button down, i tried every key combination i could think of. So finally i gave up and it let me finish the mission anyway. Then later i got a mission that had me playing pool. however this time i could move the stick around, and aim and all, but when i goto shoot, no matter how far or fast i move stick backwards, my guy kinda just glitches or something and wont ever hit the ball hard, i just end up tapping the cue ball a few inches at a time. I tried looking at the controls and custom mappings, but i can't find anything that designates the sensitivity for the mouse for the bowling or pool... or something like that. I was trying again yesterday, and if i play pool and move the mouse really really quick i can get the ball to almost go across table and hit balls. Psycold Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 I had this problem with the bowling but I never got to the pool game, I assume I will have the same problem with pool. I remember reading somewhere that someone had a problem trying to bowl but I'm not sure if it was the same problem we are having, you are definitely not alone though. Well just a teeny dissapointment, otherwise i'm enjoying the heck out of this game so far. love it. That will be released next week (maybe). Talk about piss-poor quality control. Don't you think keyboard and mouse controls are critical aspects of the game? Rockstar seem to be blaming the issue on over-sensitive mice. Hopefully, the second patch will fix the pool too - plus anything else they forgot when they fixed the bowling. slipispsycho Posted December 24, 2008 Share Posted December 24, 2008 i can't play pool cuz it's just completely dark you can't even see the table much less hte balls.. as for bowling, after trying for a steady 10 mins with my wireless mouse, i grabbed my wifes wired mouse, which worked. from my experience, bowling won't work with a wireless mouse, but will work with a wired one.
