Loosha
Hey Guys, now I know I am not the only one having trouble with my GTA 4 copy but also I know that I am not the only one who could maybe manage them with the help of some creative and helpful people as you are. So please can somebody help or suggest something? THE PROBLEM: The higher I set my resolution in the game, the less textures I see!! First off, I as many others, try playing with commandcode "-norestrictions -nomemrestrict" and at least now I figured out how to start the game in that helpful mode via loggin on this crappy SocialRockstar-Service. So when I open up the game it sets EVERYTHING to the highest possible option. BUT This is how it looks in 1680x1050 Almost no textures at all are visible Then I tried reducing the resolution to 1024x768 notice how some smaller objects become visible now And finally to the lowest 800x600 ALMOST full visibility but still glitches and blind spots Now I know its not very clear from the second screenshot but I noticed that the lower I set the resolution, the more textures started to show up. Then I tried experimenting around with the view distance but the effects remained the same. WHAT CAN I DO? I found several step-by-step instructions on the board explaining how to get textures back but NONE of em worked. I know my system is capable of showing GTA in at least Medium-High - Settings since it runs games like Fallout 3, Assasins Creed or NBA 2K9 in almost FULL details on 1680x1050. Here are my systemspecifications: CPU: AMD Athlon 64x2 4000+ VGA: NVIDIA Geforce 8800GT 256 Ram: 2 GB VGA-Drivers: 180.43 Edited December 4, 2008 by Loosha
