kidprimus
got GTA IV yesterday, after some hassle i started up and played it. got in touch with a bug i found a fix for (will mention later) and that i couldn't change my texture quality. i can't change my texture quality to anything higher then medium, i can go to low and medium, but not to high and the latter, why can't i do this? i'm running vista 32bit (ultimate) with msi r4850 512mb GPU and e8400 processor (3ghz duocore) on 1680x1050 res. i'm playing the fine at 30fps with all sliders to max (with view distance to 50) and quality to medium and rendering to highest. i got SP1 and installed all the latest drivers too. - to fix the problem some ATI users are getting with the jumpy shadows (shadows just spazz out everywhere over objects and buildings and pavement, etc) you have to install the 8.12 beta drivers, before doing this i had 8.10 with the shadow issues, after installing 8.12 the shadows are regular and don't act up. download: http://www.mediafire.com/?h1ytmgy40w3
