Xenoth Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 I've been waiting for the came to be released for PC for 6 months and it finally arrived yesterday. Some friends and I have been looking really forward to the multiplayer, teasing each other with what radio-staiton we would be hearing when we were driving together, etc. Of course it shows up that the others can't hear you switching channel. Hooray. Anyway. We were really looking forward to rob some shops together, eat together, get drunk at a bar etc. Well, once we got the game working we entered freemode. Found the nearest shop, but it was compeltely empty. We guessed that it was a glitch and went on, but every shop that we got to was empty and we couldn't find any bars at all. Even the hot-dog stands were abandoned. We thought about it and guessed that Rockstar haven't added the patch with that content yet. Still can't wait to get drunk together, etc. We went underground to catch a train and waited for like 10 mins. No trains either. Wtf? Where's all the multiplayer content? You can't visit shops or go to bars with your friends? And they've deleted the trains? I haven't tried tried the police-computer yet, but I hope we'll be able to do that in coop then. I thought GTA 4 was supposed to be full of coop-fun? I know there custom matches, but they get pretty repitive after a while. Where's the real coop? The shops? The bars? The trains? I'm guessing it's because you require money to do those stuff and you can't earn money in freemode so they removed it. Maybe because it would be strange going around trying to kill someone but the suddenly buy a hotdog to replenish health or go to the subway to take a train. Chroniss Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 GTA 4 has barely any coop. 3 missions I believe, and all of them very short. Free mode is just deathmatch with a different name, kinda lame really. If you want full coop look to Saints Row 2 when it comes out in like a month I believe.
