Painful Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Ok, I recently OC'd my Q6600 from 2.4 to 2.8 (not big i know but no proper cooling) and this is my results before: Statistics Average FPS: 44.52 Duration: 37.33 sec CPU Usage: 66% System memory usage: 51% Video memory usage: 85% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 960 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Medium Render Quality: Medium View Distance: 15 Detail Distance: 15 after: Statistics Average FPS: 50.33 Duration: 37.02 sec CPU Usage: 64% System memory usage: 51% Video memory usage: 99% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 960 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Medium Render Quality: Medium View Distance: 15 Detail Distance: 15 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I get 45 frames average at High and Highest settings, yet somehow when I play the game, I'd be really lucky to get anything above 35. But I do plan on overclocking my Q6600 to 3.2 over the weekend. I get 45 frames average at High and Highest settings, yet somehow when I play the game, I'd be really lucky to get anything above 35. Vicetopia Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 My Q6600 is at 3.2 using VID, 1.237v. It's a G0/SLACR of course. Although that really means nothing to you since every chip is different. I have it stable at 3.6 ghz as well, perhaps I should do a stock 2.4 vs 3.6 benchmark and see the results.
