I mean, once you shoot them and they're on the ground, you can't keep them alive because kicking them or hitting them or shooting them always ends in a rather quick death. The best you can do without killing is stand and walk all over them as they try to get up, or repeatedly throw an object at them. It would be good if you could hold a button down, and the game would enter something like a 'torture mode' where you can dish out loads of non-fatal blows and keep them alive. Some of the people in this game don't deserve a quick death, like the guy who pulled me out of my car or got the better of me in a fight.... Torture mode wouldn't go along with GTA. That's cause it would make it unrealistic hitting them millions of times without them dying I guess. Then when they get up to walk away you can keep beaten them down. I don't think this would ever get old. Or if you shoot them in the leg they don't die after like three shots. For when some ar5e smashes your bright shiny new Infernus after pulling out onto a main road. Drag him out, execute him in a petrol station. Then seal it with a grenade A kidnap feature would be quite cool as well, then once you have kidnapped someone, you can ask for a ransom or just beat the hell out of them! I really feel GTA IV needs more gore, I hate when I see Niko fall off the RDT (Rotterdam Tower) and he's still intact , Im soory but I want at least some bones cracking or Niko's body leaving a bloody imprint around his desecrated body with blood seeping out of his eyes ears and mouth. Like, in real life, if I shoot you 50 times in the leg with a pistol, you're not going to die from the bullet wounds, but rather from the blood loss. I mean, the way peds fall down and react when being shot in appendages is pretty good, but a quick death shouldn't be the result of being shot or punched in the extremities. nah mean? The game claims them but they're only available during scripted mission scenes. If you hold a gun to anybody's head at short range you should be able to do a random execution including: a. two to the chest one to the head b. "on your knees" and execute c. beat to the ground then gun on head and turn away d. Yeah thats another downfall of GTA, the fact that majority of the fun things you can do in the game are just scripted for one mission. I would love it if I could drag a ped into that dark alley at night near the Majestic hotel and little cinematic would occur where Niko would start to scare and beat the sh*t out of the ped for his money, and if you dont scare him enough he yells help and you get a 2 star wanted level, but if you do you get his money. that would revolutionize the GTA interactive crime world. Grow up and get off yer high horses, losers). There should also be bare-hand executions in the game, like strangulation, smothering and neck breaking.
