ZaCkOX
I just want to return GTA IV for pc, it's nothing like GTA IV for xbox. What were they thinking? It was bad enough I had all these errors, and had to install SP3 for XP, but also I can't play it online, and I need social club? Plus I can't use crossfireX because it comes out like this! Horrible experience. I'm 25, I do programming myself, this is just ridiculious! Fix it! http://site.staffordsfamouschocolates.com/...gExperience.JPG Check out the picture. Almost everything is invisible, and latest video drivers DOES NOTHING! Edited December 4, 2008 by ZaCkOX

ZaCkOX
Rockstars Suggested Fix. wow, they added like 20 more errors lol That doesn't work, especially since ATI CC is not considered 3rd party, and I did uninstall it and reinstall it, and latest drivers. The fact is... this is their fault and they better fix it.

The game runs fine for me with 2x4870x2 but it looks absolutely horrible. Objects popping in all the time when you turn your head. Textures being redrawn 10 feet from your character. DOesn't matter if I use lowest gfx setting or highest.
Tomzzz8
the cpu is the main bottleneck! And the thingy this guy had is something i had once but it was gone after restarting the game, the game is quite heavy but not in a graphical sense, understand that... i hope R* will take care of these aspects, but it really is an amazing game and i love to play it!!! even with 25 fps! Almost everything is invisible, and latest video drivers DOES NOTHING! Happened to me as well at first. You have to uninstall your display drivers through add/remove programs and then reboot in SAFE mode and run driver sweeper and completely flush your system of all driver files... then boot back into normal windows and install the latest set of drivers available for your card. If you dont run driver sweeper in safe mode then it wont work. Edit - heres the link for the thread in which they fixed it http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=378702 read the first post and follow it's steps exactly.
