Different problems than performance-question

For 1-2 days of playng I met the following gameplay problems for me:

 

1. How the hell to play bowling??? I click the left mouse botton as said in the help and I have to move the mouse back and forward, but when I move the mouse nothing happens. Niko doesn't move a millimeter. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT. It's interesting that on the pool (billiards) the move back and forward of the mouse works for me. Niko makes lame and weak shots, but at least he moves the stick. On the bowling he does nothing at all.

 

2. How to make the user music to play. I did what I had to: Copied my favourite MP3 tracks in "Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\User Music" folder but in the game when i turn to Independence FM I hear only commercials and no music. I remember that I had the same issue in GTA:San Andreas. Both problems on Vista.

 

3. Is there any way to make the camera to be more adequate when I drive a car? When I drive without moving the camera with the mouse on the corners I don't see a thing when I turn. The camera just moves with delay. On the previous GTA's the camera moved instantly when I press the turn button. On this game I must hold the mouse with the right hand and drive with the left. It's difficult for me.

1: you have to be brutal and swift with your mouse movement. your actions won't do anything on screen until you slash forwards.

 

2: Hop into the options menu and find and mess with the autoscan, quickscan and complete-scan functions. that should do it. note you can also put shortcuts and playlists and it'll register them.

 

3: not as far as i know. it's not too big of a problem considering you have to drive-shoot later in the game.

I just played a game of bowling and I lost But I have to say I was better then in real life.

 

Just follow the instructions on the screen.

 

Indeed you have to move a bit violently.

 

Regarding music, again indeed do a complete scan and you're in business. I just stopped it after a few tracks, but it seems you don't have to wait for the scan to complete. I just have a single shortcut to the main music file, where I store the actual MP3's

 

Too bad the ZIT function doesn't recognise the MP3 tags, that would have been nice. Now I just get a text that they cannot identify the song or similar wording.
