savov
If a user bypasses these safety measures using command line arguments and exceeds their system resources, the users gaming experience may be compromised. This is from http://www.rockstargames.com/support/gta4p...%20Settings.doc I want to know how to bypass these "safety measures", couz I wanna test how my system will run the game with High textures settings. korn0413
Make a shortcut to your LaunchGTAIV.exe and go to properties on the shortcut and at the end of the Target: line add -norestrictions. It should look something like: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" -norestrictions Im running high/highest, and 60/67 on the sliders w/ a q6600 @ 2.4, 4 gigs ddr2 800, 8800 GT 512mb and get ~40fps avg. nitro_hedgehog
i think the benchmark is a really bad test. it doesn't feature intensive stuff like dense traffic, and more importantly RAIN.the benchmark says i should be gtting 38 FPS avg. more like 25.... Lutra78
On most systems the "-norestrictions" command doesnt work. God knows why.
