RedAero
That's odd. I have a 5200+ at about 2.7 GHz, 2 gigs of RAM and a 8800GT which is barely being used at all, and at roughly medium settings I'm in single FPS digits. Same drivers too. Although I'm on Vista SP1. What's causing my horrid speeds?

I also changed page rendering to 8 in the nivida control panel. Oh, and set that shadow thing to 0 in game .

Can you post comparision screens please?
foxfire29
Great thread guys, I actually have an 8600GT and am on an amd 5600 and Im hoping the game will be comfortably playable on medium or low settings. Correct me if Im wrong but the CPU seems to be the biggest factor in performance from what Ive been reading which means I may just manage to play it, what worrys me is that it stutters like hell when I start driving fast etc, I really hope it isnt like that, its just I did a benchmark test and coording to that I should be able to play pretty reasonably

I haven't tried fiddling with the nvidia control panel yet, but I'm overclocking my CPU first, then fiddling with the small stuff.
