ShXIII
Just got a full refund for this crappy port from gamestop to give others hope of wanting to return it, manufactures defect and point them to this website if they have doubts. I may pick this game up way in the future when they fix all the crap and its only 10 dollars next to the other junk PC game section. In case any of you may doubt my PC im running: Core 2 Duo e8500 4GIGS of Memory GTX260 latest drivers Vista 32bit full updates Trust me I have patience when it comes to optimizing games (crysis, crysis warhead, farcry 2 etc etc) I work on computers for a living and PC gaming is my passion, but this game is a joke, I spent hours trying to get it to run half way decent without any luck. And no I'm not waiting for a patch to come out because it will not fix all the problems right away and I'm not going to sit on 50 dollars to wait a few months to play it correctly. Congrats to the few who got it to work for them, I'm jealous

Smiley_ie
Yeah i cant return to gamestop on there policy crap. Im gonna try the old trick they will take it back if its unopen or exchange it for a another one. So i'll exchange it for another one which will be unopen then exchange it for a refund. Allso seen Steam is giving back refunds which just shows how bad it is.
ShXIII
If steam is giving out refunds that's pretty bad, good luck on beating the system

fate_sealer
I actually work in the electronics department at my job. Normally I refuse any kind of refund on a game since I know most of the tricks people try to pull, plus it is the responsibility of the consumer to know what they are getting into when they purchase an item. The only exception I give, and anyone who works with games should give, is if the item plain does not work. I've spent hours so far trying to get the game to run. Not just trying to make it run good, or with a decent frame rate; I've been trying to make it run as it is designed to run. Here is Canada, the law states that "any" defective product can be returned to the retailer (or distributor in the case of steam) within 30 days; in fact the retailer is obligated by law to accept the return (the law does not force a retailer to only give exchanges, it forces them to give a refund). I'm currently trying to get a refund from steam, a request I find embarrassing to say the least considering my knowledge of how these license agreements work. Neal40000
there not going to "fix it" theres nothing they can do but fix things like glitches, errors etc, not the gameplay rates, theyve jsut f*cked the PC version up basically.
AussieDave27
Easy return for me in Australia to EB if I want. I just have to do it before Tuesday. I may well return it now and rebuy it if it's improved in the future.
