TonyResta
I don't like XBOX but i think that's the best option because not even some super rigged pcs i see on here can run it, or just get it for pc and hope that any future patch will fix it. Garfield 2
You can record from PS1, PS2, Xbox, X360 etc. with EasyCap - it's cheap AV to USB tool and allows you to record from your console to your PC Cheapest one i found was 5.99 and it was 3 months ago. TECHN9CiAN
Also, What other games do you plan, or think, you may play in the future? The 360 is the best choice for GTA IV, unless you're anal and feel like you need to be able to get all cinematic with any video recordings you may want to make. Plus, you get DLC. For PC, apart from the video editor feature, you also get mods. Mods help keep the game fresh for years after buying it... And, I'm sure that eventually somebody will come up with some mods similar, if not excactly, like the DLC stuff (maybe not the extra missions, though). Does this help make your decision easier? Good luck with whatever you choose.
Mr_Prickles
Post your current system specs. If it'll cost you more than the value of an xbox to meet minimum specs for GTA IV, just buy the Xbox. Unfortunately, I was in the same situation as you. I had the option of buying a 360 for $250, or spending $1,500 to completely rebuild my PC (because nothing in it has ANY f*cking value.), and I chose the Xbox. I'm almost ashamed of it, but I just don't have the time to get a job, and I'll sacrifice graphics and control for the chance to play the damn game. oldage
Meh, if you have an owning comp, go for the PC version (mods, which will most likely will rule). or if you have a comp from the 80's like me, go for the xbox. (i have PS3, much better )

Fidayi
get xbox 360 version,i heard that there are any problems with the pc version.Plus with the 360 version, you wont have to worry about lagging issues. Lagging issues are caused by one's system, or you could say the lack of powerful hardware. It's not a common problem among PC users. This game has very detailed environments and you need a powerful PC to run it on the highest settings though it looks good on medium as well. The problems we encounter now can be solved by just a simple patch. R* is currently working on those issues. And to come back to the posters question, PC or 360. I really can't tell, I don't know what you prefer. Are you a real PC gamer? Then go for the PC version. Upgrading your hardware would be a sound investment. If you are a console gamer, go for the 360 version. You should take more things into account when choosing between PC and 360. Lord Illicious
I have it for PS3 and was considering getting the PC version. Just today i was reading on how the PC version has some serious problems even for high end PCs. Horrible 15 to 20 FPS on average, many bugs, crashes, looks horrible, malwares, sounds like a nightmare. To install the game you're forced to also install Rockstar Social Club, Games for Windows Live, the SecureROM service (DRM) which is very hard to keep from always running on your PC. Plus you need a Windows Live account to even save your game which means a separate account if you already have one by a PS3 or 360. I really wanted to get the PC version for the avalable custom tracks feature but forget that now. Get the 360 version. Youll save yourself a world of pain. If you could save up a lil more money ide get the PS3 version. Has very little pop-ins (hell i dont even see any, they are very rare) and you could play for a very long time. If not then the 360 would be just fine.
