I chat to the girl behind the desk first like it says - then I go to any of the computers and press the same button that I used to chat to the girl and nothing happens, the option to log into a computer just keeps popping up again and again, it WILL NOT log on. Infinite Monkey Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 On the xbox you get a prompt saying which button to press to use computer. It's the same button you use for all sorts of interactive stuff like buying hamburgers etc. I assume the PC is the same... cablord Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 after a long time ive figured it out! what you should do is remember where the internet caffe is, then after it you should go to the internet caffe without the mission (take it after this short guide) and then go into the caffe enter one of the computers (should work) and if this worked then take the mission anyway worked for me p.s. first post hehe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ravagertau Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Well Im not a part of your forums but I fixed the problem atleast for pcs and while googleing randomly I found this topic.So I wanted to help.GTA 4's new official patch deals with problem its true but for a limited time bug reappears.So I scaned the install progress to understand what fixed the bug.(PW)Patch changes all the log and text based files to their default version this make bug disappear.(Sorry for English) Solution: Very simple;Every time before you play the game reinstall the official patch(First setup.exe then updatetitle.exe). PATCH rapidshare (http://rapidshare.com/files/173096947/GTA_IV_Patch1.zip) (Clean scaned with Kav 2009) BTW if your are a pirate dont worry patch is not a problem for you atleast for now(tested). This is an anti piracy measure that Rockstar have activated. If you find you cannot access the computers in the game with the E button it's because securom has determined you are not using a legitimate copy of the game. Ideally it would be even better if people stopped using pirated versions of the game. I would do a sticky topic but I think the admins would go a bit mad with me if I did a "Hey internet not working in GTA 4, guess why ?
