I think it's norestrictions. But if you look in the readme.txt file in the root of the installation folder it's written in there. What shortcut are you using it on? Plus you have to be already signed into the Social Club for it to work how will you know if it works?? wil you be able to put texture quality to high/highest? there will be no limits as to what you can change in the graphics. it's as simple as that. and yes that would mean you could set everything to 100 and very high. doesn't mean you're gonna be able to play it at those settings though. if the command doesn't work it simply means the command is lost somewhere on the way to the executable. whether it's cause you're using steam or if you're using it on the wrong exe i don't know. oh yeah and if you can't login to social club just try and try and try again. and then try some more. You know it works as you can set every to high regardless of your graphic cards memory. You'll see a warning message at the bottom of the graphics setting menu saying so .... or what dr.whiz said Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gottex Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 (edited) donno how but it worked, all I did is looked through D:\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\ReadMe.txt ... found the line -norestrictions: Do not limit graphics settings, then went to shortcut properties, "D:\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" -norestrictions , logged in Social Club and finally now I'm able to set anything I want Edited December 4, 2008 by gottex Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
