It's working 60%

Hey everyone who's has GTA IV at the PCDVD.

I joined this site today and I'm from Sweden so sorry about my bad english.

 

I actually got the game to work at about 60% - which means that the roads, cars ,people and all the props were in the game when i was playing.

but the skies and the waters and the HUD were gone

when i pressed the ESCAPE button it just came some dots on the screen

 

I scanned for updates in the graphiccard meny when you right-clicking in "my Computer". It found many updates and the game got better.

 

hope that the PATCH will be released this week.

 

Does anyone know how to get the HUD and the cellphone and the pause-menu to become visible?

its running like s.h.i.t on my computer, spec : XFX 780i SLI Motherboard, 4GB GDDR2 1066, 9800GX2 X2, Intel Xeon X3360 Yorkfield 2.83GHz Quad-Core Processor, 2 running raid WD 1000RPM 300GB hard drive, Windows Vista HP X64 SP1 . win every i start a new game about 5 mins in to the game, i all was get a blue scene of death,or the game crash. i play frycry2,Crysis AA on X8, fall out 3 all on max settings, i get better FPS in all the other games that i play, but not GTA 4, they best come out with a patch,or some thing fast, i am disappointed.... 2 down.

yeah indeed it goes like sh*t i have a intel duo core e8500 3.16 ghz and a nvidia 9600gt and still its crashes much if i just play it some few minutes or i go to a mission it crashes i hope the patch is comming soon becuse i get sick of this

For me ALT+TABing causes HUD to disappear and menu not appear.
