Disposable
28 UK If anyone try's to blame a game, movie or music for there behavior then anyone with a brain knows its bullsh*t.. some people are crazy and want to hurt/kill people end of story, games have nothing to do with it. aldo_14
26 UK No. But I'd guess there will likely be a mild correlation because those predisposed to violence, regardless of age, are more likely to seek out violent games. This may not even be a negative thing - it could be a valuable outlet for aggression and pent up rage. It's definitely a good way to blow off steam. In any case, mature adults (legally this would be 18+, but I'm sure you have varying ages to apply this description to) are able to tell the difference between game and reality. Those young enough to be unable to distinguish should not - and usually won't - play the game, and this is a responsibility of either (preferably) parents or (if necessary) rating systems. I'd wager any money that crimes linked to playing GTA can be more robustly linked to bad parenting, bad schooling, social deprivation, or other factors. 3brothersofshave
Only in USA such stupid themes and stupid organisations like ESRB can be. What are hell are u talking about? What's the difference between killing adult or teen? There is no difference. Why only in USA some stupid asshole after playing GTA could take rifle and start shooting inoccent people? Maybe smth. wrong with yours minds if your people cannot see where real world is...
FreeMayk
Give people, do you think that a care to you? Perhaps only your parents ... The more people is less oxygen. People must be removed and less needed. There are robots and automation. GTA 4 in the United States is forbidden to purchase more. It is a tactic, because what is forbidden, want more. Greater earnings also. I see the game as a form of entertainment. If he kills people in the game, I do not have a conscience, because these people have no soul. In real life it never would work, because I know what the man and his emotions. Maybe I stole a car or feel a speed, drive aircraft, helicopter, I wish the girls in this large quantity or fihting and to me nothing for the pain and no injuries, and also opponents ... The game is a positive ... Edited December 9, 2008 by FreeMayk

PestilenceJM
22, Germany People under 18 or 17 are of course playing the game. Many got it bought by their parrents or friends. But i dont know any underaged people who played the game and are more aggressive due to the game. All the game gives you are ideas on how to kill someone. The actual reasons or rage to be able to kill some real person is not provided by the game. Thats my point of view. I played alot of violent video games in my life since i was very young (around 10 years old or something).
HomoUniversalis
21, Netherlands, Student of Applied Cognitive Psychology No. Although children are more prone to hit a bobo doll more violently if they watch (cartoon) depictions of violence. So unless we start dressing children up like bobo dolls, I think we're safe.
