Drugs and San Francisco, they go together like peaches and cream. What would be real interesting is if that camera was on the corner of Sutter and Larkin. That's smack dab in the middle of transvestite territory. EDIT: I have been there before, and I'm pretty sure I was extremely drunk/high. Somebody was selling morphine, which stands out to me, since I'm usually offered weed/coke/crack/heroin. EDIT2: Scratch that, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about a block or so over. It's where environmentalists and other biking advocates take over the streets. I ride in it in my city and it's really fun, though not as crazy as in the video as it looks like the participants are super militant in San Francisco. I've been in these things in Boston and New York (which is filled with taxi drivers who drive absolutely out of their mind), two cities that have some of the statistically worst drivers in the country, and we're able to bring them to a stop pretty easily. Never seen anyone get splattered. Though on the other hand, in more car-oriented cities, people in cars might be more territorial and not stop for anyone who is not in a car.
