I have minimum spec CPU for this game (hunk o poo). while playing, gta4.exe is using 77 - 89% cpu usage and GTA4.launcher uses 7 - 9% cpu cycles. I've alt tabbed out and exited from social club. Is there any way of getting rid of the launcher? I feel i need those extra cpu cycles lol my system idle process's is usually about 4 - 12%. Do I need to spend 200 to 250 quids on a quad (new mobo n RAM) or what? sorry for the random crazy post.

 

X2 3800 @ 4800 speeds. I don't feel overclocking anymore will help tbh. Obviously my CPU is a bottleneck so don't slate me please, i just want some advise. cheers bods.
