cant remember
Running on an Geforce 9600GT it works pretty fine, not at high settings but it runs excellent no less. Though there's bugs: - I hit F2 and it didn't save my clip even though it said "saving clip", though subsequent tries did work. - the -norestrictions flag does NOT work at all. - Ocassional popins, especially on ATI cards (as seen from other people) - Quitting a multiplayer game starts a new single player game and the intro starts playing again. - There is a command prompt open while you play - The Home key on the numpad cannot be remapped. - Shadows look weird - The game sometimes says I need to insert the original disk instead of a copy and I need to try again before it works (someone I know has the same problem) - No anti aliasing I tried it on a laptop (above minimum except videocard which was a Geforce 8400M GS with 128Mb of memory and have the following problems: - the benchmark does not work and crashes - the game looks like absolute crap and runs slowly (just playable), although when i drive around buildings and roads become invisible and seize to render so i'm driving in thin air (everything looks crap except the cars and peds look excellent) - I cannot change the settings, I cannot even lower them, unless I use -safemode All in all this is a shoddy port, it definatly does not run on 3 year old hardware, and the distance blur like in the console is not gone. The previewers (and Rockstar probably aswell) blatantly lied. Edited December 4, 2008 by Niteye
