A terrorist cell has threatened to set off an nuclear bomb in a major city, and you play as an SWAT of anti-terror soldier who is out to stop them. Imagine shoot-outs through the streets of New York or San Francisco. That would be undoubtably cool, but then it'll be almost exactly like RSV2. And yet the games have nothing similar about them except i suppose Vegas 2 they copied some small features seen in cod4. But they are just two completely different games. And the way vegas story panned out, the main guy was just a little bitch who resented that you were promoted to team leader and bossed him around basically somehow pissing him off enough to do random terrorist stuff. Anyways, when is IW going to throw us a bone here with some damned info...im getting impatient about it. It is Games For Windows Live, a Microsoft MP server that have achievements feature, but it lacks of anti-cheat and country support. Key exceeded glitch also happens. But many game developers today use GFWL rather than Punkbuster and Gamespy Arcade. Hope the info helps you. I kind of like it when they aren't there, Battlefield BC was fun with vehicles but it gets annoying when you just want a FPS. Hopefully they don't go too crazy with them in MF 2. I didn't mean that, it just GFWL gain popularity, so I thought all members have at least one GFWL game. It sucks though peoples always cheating, for memory hog games you will get disconnected if cheating peoples use unlimited rpg. I prefer they using their own server. But it will not happen if they plan to release DLC. Edit: This is how GFWL looks like, currently I'm using offline account so there will be no achievements. He was one of the best things in the game for a lot of people, he was like COD4's mascot. I want to know if they'll be getting some more celeb voice actors for the commanders like Treyarch did with WAW(Sutherland and Oldman). I'd also like for them to give the playable characters some actual dialogue. I know it won't happen as that isn't the COD mold but it'd be alot better playing as a guy who is more than a drone. As long as it wasn't made by Treyach. Treyarch did a good job making COD: WAW, I'm sure I will be confident when they are making the new COD after MW2. Just because that game became the first 'mainstream' and 'extremely popular' COD game doesn't mean it's the best. Call of Duty/United Offensive were the best titles from the series, no doubt. Best gameplay, no console crap (deathicons? no recoil? hitblimps? enemy icons/red dots on compass/radar?...), gameplay was how it is supposed to be: leaning towards REALISM instead of balanced arcadeness (which results in automatic weapons being extremely powerfull and accurate while sniper rifles/bolt action rifles were... very unrealistic). Yes, debate again wether or not realism matters. But when you start with series that rely on addictive somewhat realistic gameplay and blood boiling intense action.... and suddenly switch to console focus and dumbed down gameplay... it just feels wrong (although the game is still enjoyable, don't get me wrong. I play both titles alot). Anyways, I really followed the series since Call of Duty 1 and I'm a 'hardcore' Call of Duty fan. But since Call of Duty 2 they're just raping the franchise and make it into a console title rather than keeping up the brilliant gameplay and re-inventing the game while keeping the brilliant foundations they had laid with United Offensive. Not that I want to see gameplay but a little more then that would have helped. From what I've seen there seems to be something in line with RSLV2.
