AbSoLuTiOn Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 Seems as if the 360 version of MW2 is getting two map packs before all other platforms, which was revealed at the MS Conference today, seems as if a large chunk of actual game play was shown, like the snowmobile chase. Source The info starts at the 10:58 time mark, some in game pictures have been taken, looks impressive considering the low light. Shame about the timed-exclusive maps i think. Exactly what I was thinking as he made his way to and then across the runway after all hell had broken loose. Only managed to watch some 6 minutes of the demo, not sure how much more footage there is; it ended about 30 secs after getting on the snowmobile. Lookslike theyve got some interesting ideas for SP, like the heartbeat/heat/whateverthehellitis detector on the side of the gun. Can't wait for this now, definetly looks like IW will deliver. Ah, i couldn't make out the little type outs at the beginning form the video you linked me too Enjoii, but it still looked freaking awesome, and i think the weapon "Roach" has may be an AK-103. I seriously can't wait for November, as soon as they announce if EU is getting a CE or not, i'm gonna go pre-order, CE if there is one for here. Gears of War? Brothers in Arms?). Hopefully this means the CE will actually be worth it. The only Call of Duty CE that was somewhat worth it was World at War. The weapons look good but as in MW they are bound to be different when it comes to the MP side of things. For example the G3 was fully automatic during the story/single mode but in MP it was single fire. Hopefully the weapons wont differ too much between the game modes. What the f*ck is up with that radar on the gun, at first I thought it was a corner-shot, Im not quite certain from that video, possibly a scar-l, with the sights removed but I cant be sure because of the abnormal stock and the fact the radar thing blocked most of it. Basic M4 body, I see a hinge on the stock meaning folding, could be an XCR, The rails seem higher raised and sloped up from the gun. If its one of the Beretta storm guns im gunna hang myself. Interestingly enough gotta love the first dibs on the map packs, lol. Makes me wonder why Sony isn't throwing more money around like obviously microsoft is doing. I hope that the 'climbing' is also (dynamic) gameplay and not some scripted cinematics or cinematics. Though, gameplay looks better than expected! Although im assuming that you go through the same script every play through of cliffhanger. That is once you get to the top and jump off to the right you almost fall to your death. We got heartbeat sensors (f*cking rainbow six had that sh*t in 97), ice climbing, snowmobiles, auto-Glocks, and what look like Docter red dots instead of those sh*tty ones from MP in MW1. This game is going to f*cking rock. I just hope the rest of your group members aren't like Sgt. Smith and sh*t. We need more Gazes, Roaches, and Soaps. Also, I'm pretty jealous of you over-the-pond folks. You get cool accents, and cool terms like "Union Jack". @EasyTiger - I wouldn't be surprised if they had a selection set of MP vs SP weapons. sh*t, half the weapons in MP you only got a chance to use in SP if they were dropped.
