anuj Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Yeah, there was a picture of Soap in the GameInformer article, and the Mohawk guy looks pretty similar to the pictures, especially in the snow scenes, so we can be fairly sure that it's Soap. I don't know. I think they want to give Soap the veteran look, which wouldn't really go with a mohawk. I think Mohawk Man is this games version of Gaz. See, there's two thoughts I had on Price and his silly arse mustachio. 1) He was killed on that bridge. I know Price has been in every COD game, but I remember in one of them you save him in one mission, and he gets killed at the very beginning of a mission one year later in the timeline. 2) He wasn't killed on that bridge. Every game has had a Price. The difference between MW2 and the rest of them is that they seem to be trying to bridge the stories. It's like MW2 is more connected to its predecessor than any other, which is pretty obvious seeing as how they even dropped the f*cking "Call of Duty" from the title. I don't think he was killed on the bridge, but he's got to have been in almost 20 years at this point. I don't think his mustache is up to more action tours, so I think you're right, that Price is going to be this games version of MacMillan. A total badass who gets sidelined because of some crazy f*cking sh*t. The ideas that have been popping up around the story have been f*cking amazing. There are people who think Gaz survived being shot in the f*cking head. They justify this by saying the Loyalist helicopter that was coming in that distracted Zakhaev managed to vibrate the ground enough that Zakhaev missed Gaz's head and shot him in the ear. My best guess is that Soap was re-living some past sh*t while recuperating after Game Over. I mean, the iwd files in the COD4 directory have a bunch of files marked "gaz______" for sounds, saying stuff like "Good shot Soap". Although I never got it myself, there was apparently a photo of Soap in the GameInformer article, can't really tell if it's the Mohawk guy because of the hat, but it doesn't look a whole lot like him. He had 15-17 years in when the first game was out. I'm not saying that 20 years have passed. edit - Ahahaha, I read about the Pvt. Cook glitch, but that sh*t was hilarious. He uses cluster bombs and infinite ammo (from the intels collected) and kills loads of enemies. Apparently due to this a glitch occurs, and when the tanker blows and Zahkeav arrives with his men, some SAS soldier called Private Cook arrives and he hits them all over the head with his gun, killing them (Gaz get's shot still even though no is there to do so!) Reason why I'm sure that's Soap is because look closely at his holster. He's got Price's 1911. Also: can a brother get a beta release date?
