morry9086 Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Can anyone confirm yes or no if you can play this game with your mates on a LAN We have 10 of us that have played this on the PS3 XBOX360 and are desperate to all sit face to face and play GTA IV on our LAN I have heard different opinions and can get no straight answer Has anyone out there played this with their mates on a LAN? I cant believe its not included if the answer is no.............I have already forked out my $700 for a PS3 and $100 for the game just to play GTAIV now I want it on PC just so I can LAN with it. Tantalus91 Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 Turn off windows firewall, or any third party firewall, in both computers. Router configuring isn't needed. Lan uses UDP packets and Windows Firewall for some reason likes to kill those in the network. I've noticed this happens alot more in windows 7 but it's no biggy just turn off windows firewall while u play lan. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
