Decooding your rant ... Do you mean ... "Social Club TV is really slow and keeps buffering the video window but nothing plays" ? If so ... I agree its up and down still at the moment. I would think the servers are taking a massive hit, all that stream data, from the game uplaods, and playback ... they may of underestimated volume, but they said they are working on it ... Basically, cam stays still (zoomed in), Niko moves towards camera (standing still somehow), and cam zooms out to keep him seeming like he isn't getting closer. There is a zoom option, right? I was thinking maybe get Niko to stand on a car that doesn't go fast enough for him to fall off. And how about stop-motion. Anyone tried that? GTAMonkey2012 Posted December 9, 2008 Author Share Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) You could do this as regards moving a camera into shot and then zooming using ratio level, but im not sure how steady and smooth it would end up, will have a play later see if I can get a smooth version of it, the markers can be limited when you string them together to keep something in shot .. I had a camera trying to stay inside the car dash in one section of the chase scene I did, it was hard to time the camera though in this editor when something moving allot. Stop motion cant be done at the moment becuase you cannot "freeze" a shot, I added in my request the ability to slow to "0" then you could do it by making very short clips, if they end up adding screen capture and adding those to editor then that would work a treat. they could do it with a preset effect added to transitions, maybe they might add it to the transitions list of tricks, I know they are adding more after patch. It did this last night but then suddenly started working. The thing is, it doesnt seem to do anything to determine a failure it just instantly fails.. Really annoying. I imagine there will be server issues from time to time but the quickness of the failure is strange. I have exactly the same, but rerendered several times. Why can't I upload? Has anyone any idea? I really don't know why the second render worked and why re-rendering has not worked for you. I'm hoping the patch sorts out these issues.. I know how frustrating it can be. Ive had it where as I goto upload I get the message letting you know about uploading and to press enter, press enter, it says "failed" ... doesnt even try the website, do the same 2 times rapid .. suddenly comminucates with server and then uploads. That said the last video I treid 3 times last night, uploaded to the point of giving you the box to enter desciption/tags ... pause .. "failed to upload" (the details box never shows fails before that point) .. then tried once today in the day and it worked (not before the above fail message with even trying to ping the server before attempting to try to upload). Well no not in the editor for copyright reasons you can only use in-game tracks, and even some of them are not available (again copyright useage with record labels etc). Yes export WMV with the edits then bring WMV into any other package is the way, theres a few thing I want to do that this editor cannot so pretty soon I will be moving some MWV's to another editor package for at least one idea I have. Because when i put them into Vegas video i can edit them but when i render i just get audio when playing them back. Not a codec thing becauce i rendered them back out in wmv and divx at 320x240 as a test bought just contain audio. Exported the same as wmv too, tested in all players and same result, black screen and audio only. A ... to any vegas/premier owners who can work this out with a right output combination.
