D3lta
Play the game signed out of Social Club. Rockstar is having some problems with their servers. You won't have multiplayer/Social TV, but the single player works. Edited December 4, 2008 by D3lta

PestilenceJM
I think I have the same problem as everyone else, but it's not the same error. Mine says RMN40, and logging out of social club doesn't do anything... what about making sure you have xp service pack 3/vista service pack 1 and microsoft framework .net 3.5 installed? How do i check wich .NET Framework ive got installed? It installed along with GTA IV so it should be the required version, shouldnt it? Also, when i want to play, it sometimes give me the MMA10 error, but beside that, Vista allways gives me this message: Copy and paste this link into your browser incase you cant see the image above: http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3204/vistaerrorag2.png Translated it says something like: "GTA IV Doesnt work anymore" "Windows can search online for a solution for the problem." "-> Search online for solution and close the program" "-> Close the program" "v show problem details" Does anyone have the same problem? I run Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit Service Pack 1 (German). I tried to log out of social club, log out of GFWL, logged out of both webpages aswell. Logged into one of each, logged into both... I noticed that sometimes i do only have the Windows Vista error (as seen in the pic above) and sometimes i have both the error from above AND the FATAL ERROR:MMA10 Did someone contact R* on this certain problem yet? EDIT: Just searched .NET Framework 3.5 on google, found a page to download, and installed it. No change, same problem. Comrade_Niko
I can play the game, and I don't get this error. The only thing is that I can't log in to Social club, so I just start it in offline mode, and off I go. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
FullMetal
Haven't been up to date about GTAIV for a while. So, this means that you can't play GTAIV online yet? What the hell is this ... game runs choppy on 'high end' PC's, I can't login on the 'RGSC' programme that has been delivered with the game... seriously, they did a sloppy job on this as it seems. djpeezee
I was having this exact problem last night and this morning. I was able to resolve it by linking my windows live account to my rockstar social club account (use the profile to do this). I was playing online this morning. I also logged into the live account ingame from the GAME MENU. It seemed to fix the problem.

BootiDaddy
Did that now I get "...GTA IV Fatal Error: RESC10...". After researching it is meant to be related to Video Memory, but I don't think that is the problem, as everything meets minimum spec! Also, can you save in single player mode?
