DX corrupt OS corrupted GTA IV - POS Some have said even with a clean install of OS it stil does this same problem. How can i roll back my DX driver? This is when the game first starts, you can see a square or triangle (in the middle of the pic where the car is) where the textures render properly. Everything else is _f*cked_. Add me to the list Q6600 Quad core nVidia 8800 GT 512 mb 2 GB ram Win xp 32 bit SP3 Steam version tried to start with -norestrictions and -nomemrestrict Edit: The steam version actually uses the wrong exe to start the game, the changes i make to the Launch Options make no differente unless i make a direct shorcut to the LaunchGTAIV.exe file. Can you post screenshots of your issue? I concur, every version should have a screenshot of the first playable second of the game (The angled car view you start with). So I reinstalled it, and forced it to log out of my name. The game still has the no texture problems.
