No, its not. Have you seen medium settings with no AA / AF? It looks worse than GTA 3 for PS2. And yes if your asking, most of us are very upset that we should be able to max this game without breaking stride but can't due to POOR GAME CODING / BAD PORT JOB / DRIVER ISSUES. But your right, you obviously have a firm grasp on gaming computers /facepalm Oh, and top of the line or near top of the line rigs getting 30~ FPS with medium or low settings is fail, not acceptable. Even seeing from some screens, thanks to no depth effect or AA, the game actually looks worse than the console versions (bridges, overhead railway etc); with weird grain, fuzz like textures surrounding the edge of most objects. Anyway, before I put my hand in my pocket, how do you guys think this would fare: CPU: AMD Phenom x4 9650 Quad GPU: Geforce 9800 GTX RAM: 4GB DDR 2 You'll be fine... quad core is what matters the most for this game. Pair that with a decent 512mb card and 3+gb ram and it runs well enough. I hope so... Lol, good one. Also do any of the mods have this game? i want to know how well there running it. there the only one here that can write a post in English. I don't really care who he is or what he's done when your wrong you wrong. I'll once again say look at one of the many other threads on here with pictures of the game on medium settings with no AA and say the game "looks good enough". It looks like sh*t, plain and simple. Know nothing about computers... well I feel no need to show credentials to someone who I wouldn't trust to clean my computer let alone expect them to know squat about how it runs so I'll just leave it with a grow up pinky. Denying this game is at this point an awful port with very poor optimization is laughable. "It runs well enough" is not acceptable when we have all paid good money and were not delivered the game we were promised. But seeing how most people on these boards that actually know a fair about about computer gaming already agree with me (technically I'm agreeing with them as they posted it first) I'll leave it at that. You do know there should be an anti aliasing control in your graphics card controller. Many have tried, none carry over to the game. Because at full shading but medium graphics (unfortunately high end ATi and even the 280GTX can't run the game on full yet for some crap reason) seemed to show signs of AA ingame anyway? Yeah, I mean, it COULD run better on your system for some strange reason, but I think you'll need a better processor atleast, even if the game is patched. So far what I've seen only ATI guys complaining about bad performance with HD 4870 and Quad Core. No one with Nvidia haven't saying anything. I guess they are playing and not experiencing any problems . Even one guy with 8800GT told that it runs fine and he has no problems. So I'm 95% sure that the problem is about ATI drivers or whatever. I even think that nvidia and rockstar made some deal (like rockstar and microsoft did for exclusive content)to make the performance on nvidia cards better then on ATI. I wouldn't be so sure, someone with a high end nvidia card with 180.48 drivers are having texture problems. MODS, can I suggest we get some sort of survey up that gets peoples' broad specs or maybe a series of polls and asks whether they can run it satisfactorily (and then enquires as to what their definition of "satisfactory" is)? It's just I'm hearing LOTS of chatter about "it sux" but not much from people for whom it actually works. And it's hard to tell -- seeing as we're all doing a qualitative instead of quantitative assessments -- whether everyone's expectations are roughly the same. Perhaps a thread with one picture (if they can get it) for quality description, and their FULL specs below it, and boot anyone who has anything else to say??????
