Hey guys if I have a q6600 and a 8800 gt 512 mb . Would this card be worth the upgrade http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102826 Its a single 2gb 4870. I would really like to max out gta iv since Im running pretty stable already with a quad and a 8800 gt so I was thinking this would be a worthy upgrade. Any advice on the matter ?

Reflections quality in GTA just sucks... It's not comparabe with GRID... sad but true

Thanks, yes its a good card, but to max out GTA 4 the best imo would be a 2 Gb GTX285, from Palit.

 

@bartekxyz : well but you cant compare Grid with GTA 4 as game, reflections are just a small, pretty small aspect of a game like GTA.

Ive seen people maxing the game out on a single gtx 260.. Except the view distance which doesnt really increase image quality anyway.

btw, after it rains. Everything reflects off the ground, just like the cars. It looks awsome.

At that particular point, it kill my PC lol it gets down into the mid-high 20's. But it sure does look beautiful with all the lights and everything reflecting off the ground. Like a mirage.

Maybe you should try downloading my Niko skin... you don't have to use the skin itself, but rather the 3 hair .pngs so it would match the goatee of your Niko.

Because I have a bad habbit of setting my graphics settings like this:

 

 

If I brought it back down to the recommended settings It will run alot better. But Everything is just too beautiful to do that.
