Extortionate
Drop the Detail Distance down a lot. This option really hits GPU performance, so keep it between 10-20 unless you have a very powerful system(Quad Core, 9800+) Also I've noticed using in game Texture Filtering makes the performance worse, than using it set inside your graphics control panel. Mudfrog
Their benchmark utility is a joke. It does not reflect anything close to real performance. In the benchmark: Statistics Average FPS: 61.80 Duration: 37.13 sec CPU Usage: 59% System memory usage: 65% Video memory usage: 93% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1920 x 1080 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: High Texture Filter Quality: Highest View Distance: 33 Detail Distance: 100 Hardware Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Video Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series Video Driver version: 8.14.10.678 Audio Adapter: Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) AMD Phenom II X4 920 Processor Real time benchmarking in game with FRAPS: Frames 6496 Time (ms) 153039 Min 28 Max 65 Avg 42.447 So as you can see I get 20fps less in game then it indicates I should get in the benchmark. My max FPS is closer to the "average" fps they claim I get.
