That can easily be faked as most people here have said, just record some console footage with a TV card and play it fullscreen on your PC monitor with Fraps running and all of a sudden you have "OMGZ I got da PC game running". What would have been more impressive to me would have been a screenshot that had a feature we know is unique to the PC. They could have taken a photo of the video editor at work, or they could have taken a photo of the Independance Fm name as they scrolled through the stations and they could have taken a photo of the GPS whilst they were adding a note to the map (which you can do in the PC version). Instead of doing allllll that guess what they do ? They show some generic gameplay footage on a monitor and then expect us to believe them. So I call fake. He was trying to say that the car isn't moving and the fps is still so low. When you play some game and you are not moving, then the FPS goes higher. When u start driving/walking then FPS goes lower. And he is "standing still" on the picture, not driving with the car and then FPS is still so low. It should be higher when not moving around. I hope u got what I was trying to say. Zeta Posted December 1, 2008 Share Posted December 1, 2008 Yea on my 4mbit I get 400kb/s max would take about 12-15 hours I would predict just start dling at 00.00am and by the time you wake up it will be finished. never had any problems with steam but I want the Map and Discs so its the hardcopy for me this time around.
