@PatrickW: A thing that would be also very cool would be the hability of giving the player Hitman, Gangster or Poor Skill on guns and (more important than the other one) beign able to increment/decrease his max health and armour (of course this will go in the settings menu) But it's not needed in the meanwhile, but could be great to have this sooner or later

 

@shiyou: Did you put the "Mpack" folder's files in the User Files or the entire folder?

Yes, those are nice things that we'll consider making configurable. Although not yet in the next version. We're currently stabilizing and testing it, and we won't add any new feature's anymore at this point.

Your folder layout should look like this:

 

\My Documents--\San Andreas User Files----\MPACK------\MPACK5---------scr.scm---------text.gxt---------mpack.dat

@shiyou: Did you put the "Mpack" folder's files in the User Files or the entire folder?

i picked the MPACK folder out of the DYOM folder and putted the WHOLE MPACK folder in my documents\GTA sa user files

  • 20 objectives
  • 20 cars
  • 20 pickups
  • 100 actors

War On Terrorism

 

You play as a SWAT officer.You have 3 other members with you.You need to find the location of a secret terrorist hideout.It`s not marked on the map, but you can easily find It, after walking forward.

 

You`ll spawn on Tierra Robada(or however It`s spelled) as a SWAT officer with 3 other guys.You`re armed with an MP5.When moving a little further, you will get ambushed by a sniper.Find where It Is and kill It.After that, you`ll see 2 parked Jeeps.They`re will be 2 terrorists guarding.Take them out, but watch out - their AK47s are very deadly!Next comes the hideout.You`ll need to think of a plan.If you just rush In, you`ll get killed In seconds.There are lots of terrorists on the roof, some with RPGs.The hideout Is heavily guarded.The leader Is hiding somewhere within the ruins(not shown on map).Find him and kill him, to complete the mission.

Install the CLEO library. Just google for "ZAZ Cleo library basic files" Download it, and unpack the files into your GTA: SA directory. Then download this mod. and unpack it to "my documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/"

 

Start a new game and choose "Create your own mission" or something.

i alrdy did all of it and it still doesnt work

I have done 4 missions.

In the first mission you are Tino Robina. You live with your father and your brother in a farm where you grown cocaine. But when you are in a big deal with the mafia, a group of mercenaries attack you and you have to escape in a boat. After that you have to go to Dillimore. You and a group of mercenaries will take the control of the farm.

 

In the second mission you are Jeron Jackson. You and your brother are in Los Santos Statal Prison. A riot between the mexicans and the blacks began. Your brother must not die(he is the black with a red bandana) After the riot you have to kill the guards and escape from the prison. This mission is difficult because you have only a knife and the final guard has a M4.

 

In the third mission you are part of a SWAT team. You will drive to the big tower in Los Santos Downtown. There is a group of terrorists. But the leader isn't there. So you have to use the elevator. When you're in the street you'll have to kill the leader, who is in front of the big tower.

 

In the fourth mission you are a bum. You are in the City Planning Departament (Or wathever it's called) You have to kill the guards who are armed with nightsticks and teargas. They're 6. But you're with 18 bums. After that, you have to pick up the gun and enter in the building. Kill the guards and the man in the 4th floor. You have to exit from the building. When you are out, you can't do anything because the army is there, you're dead, but you won the mission.

May I make suggestions for future versions? Yes? No? I'll do them anyways.

 

1. Adding checkpoints in the middle of missions (kinda like in End of the Line, so that if you lose the fire truck or Sweet was killed, you didn't had to start over.)It would be good for the people that don't have pacience to do large and difficult missions over and over because they got killed.

 

2. The option to set a timer from only one checkpoint to another, but not the whole mission.

 

3. Adding wanted level only in certain points of the mission, not during all the mission.

 

4. The option to kill more than one actor at a time as an objective. For example have to kill 5 people to advance in the mission. Not having to kill 1 actor after the another, that's just wasting objectives.

i didn't saw any ''Design your own mission''

To clear up this misunderstanding.

 

On our dutch GTAforum.nl site, we have in the past done a contest, under the same name as this mod: "Design your own mission". It was a contest were members of our dutch forum had to come up with a mission idea.

The idea that got the most votes in a poll, was implemented by Dutchy3010 and me. The winning mission was called "General Dillema".

 

Except for the name of the contest, that contest and the resulting mission have no connection to this modification.

 

This modification allows you to create your own missions ingame, play them, and share them with other users.

that_guy2057_evilgrin.gif How fatuous....you mean to stipulate that "General Dilema"which is ran under the DYOM mod, actually "has no connection" to DYOM mod? biggrin.gif If that is the case, why does one have to create directory called MPACK, so as to enable "General Dilema" to work?

 

This is why it is very important for one to look into themselves and formulate what will be said, rather than spit out utter crap...

 

Although I'm profoundly annoyed by this situation in-extremis, I must still comment that this "Design it yourself Mod" is a good acievement. But watch what you say next time mod-creator..I am simply annoyed when one utters crap.

"General Dilemma" did NOT ran under the DYOM mod. It predates this mod by about 9 months and it was written in SCM-code.

 

Feb 2008: General Dilemma, outcome of a dutch "design your mission" contest

Nov 2008: Creation and release of DYOM-mod.

 

Both "General Dilemma" en the DYOM-mod were released as MPACK's which explains why you needed to create a MPACK directory for them. (the MPACK format of distributing mods, was build into the game by Rockstar).

Update!

 

We've uploaded a new version (V2.0) of our mod, which has the following new options:

 

Texts

Text entry has been added to the modification, which can currently be used to give your mission a name, display the autorname onscreen, make an onscreen introduction text and create your own description of objectives. The missionname will also beused in the load and save dialogs.

 

Delete specific items

Previously only the last added itemn of each type could be deleted. In this version when you select a delete command from the menu, the item that is closest to you will be deleted (after a confirmation screen).

 

Edit items

All items that you added to your mission, can be edited afterwards. Select the Edit command from the menu's and you can edit the item closest to you.

 

Adding items for earlier objectives

Previously you could only add actors/cars/pickups that spawned after the last objective that you added. This has now been changed. We have now what we call a "selected objective", which normally still is the last objective that you added. (for this context, the playerstart position is also considered an objective).

The selected objective can be recoqnized by a yellow marker above it, during designtime, which is white for all the other objectives. Actors/cars/pickups will spawn ingame, after the objective that was selected at the moment you added it.

You can make a objective selected through a menu command. Objectives are still added at the end of the mission, and after adding it will be the selected objective.

 

Support special actors

You can now also choose all the special actors and CJ for any of the actors in your mission.

 

Timelimit per objective

Previously you could only set a timelimit for the entire mission. This has now been extended, so that you can change the timelimit at any objective. You can (re)set the timelimit to a specific value (set to 0 to stop the timelimit), add a specific amount of time to the time limit or leave the time limit unchanged. If the mission doesn't have a timelimit from the start, you can still start one at later objective, by setting it to a non-zero value.

 

Timed missions

A option has been added to the settings menu, that enables you to have a clock running during the mission, and display the missiontime when the mission is passed. During the mission, the clock will be displayed on screen, when you don't have a timelimit active.

 

Riots

Riots can now be enabled in the streets of San Andreas during your mission.

 

Teleporter/JetPack

In the new tools menu, two items exist that will make it easier to get to the locations where you want to add items.

The jetpack will speak for itself. The teleport option, uses the location of the marker you can place with the Right Mouse button on the Map, that can be accessed for the San Andreas menu.

 

You can download the mod here when it is accepted by the GTAGarage crew. Have fun!

I made a mission pack, but I'm going to update it with the new features, this worked on 1.1, IDK if it works in 2.0

 

Story:

Mission 1:

You are an Ex Russian Mobster called "Boris" and you've found out that a man

who wanted to kill you is going to meet a local gang in the Jefferson Motel,

you have to go and kill the gang members to set a trap for him, but be carefull,

they are heavily armed.

Tip: Try to get headshots, use the pickups carefully

 

Mission 2:

Boris found out that the gang bangers in the motel were the Northside Santos Vagos

gang, and they are going to do an important Deal with another gang, so you are going

there to kill then and to steal their merchandise before they sell it to the mafia

and escape in one of their gangcars.

 

Mission 3:

You are back home, but you hear something... They are mafia hitmen who want to take

you out, make your way to the street, then you find out that they are swarming the

place, kill them all and then escape in their bike.

Tip: Remember Boris was a mafia hitman once, so there are many guns in his house,

look for them.

 

Mission 4:

You are going to go to the mafia Hotel to kill the mafia boss, be carefull, it's

swarming with mafia out there, use cover to protect yourself, then make your way

out in the bike

 

Mission 5:

You found out that the mafia is established in the docks, you are going to scare a

local vagos gang so they get scared and their gundealer tells you where they are

and maybe you could also get a free Sawnoff.

 

Mission 6:

You have to make your way to their base, but you're going to need some

heavy firepower, go and collect their Combat Shotgun they just stashed at a dock

awaiting for their customers to discretly pick it up. Once in their base you gotta

make your way to the containers and hide there to think about a plan

 

Mission 7:

Now you got a plan, you are going to steal their drug money, but it isn't easy,

it's stored in 3 trucks in their warehouses, also, they got some more in power of

their boss, get it all and then storm their smuggling ship by jumping onto it.

 

Mission 8:

Now that you're in their ship, you must be very carefull, use that sniper rifle

to stealth kill everyone you see and then jump down, you must be very carefull with

them, they will be waiting for you, head to the captain, steal his cash and escape

in the Squalo in the water but be carefull, don't jump onto it or the fall might be deadly.

 

PS: There are some easter eggs in levels 5, 6 and 8, try to find them.

Thanks for clearing that up PatrickW, I simply assimilated, and assumed that because "General dilema" and DYOM both ran under MPACK directory, I assumed that the two were linked. Forgive me for that brawl.
