Cutscenes and conversations are still something for the future, I think there are other items/suggestions with more priority. But we will certainly take them into consideration.

 

As for the coloring in texts.. that is something that is already possible, try:

These are the standard codes that are used in the gxt files.

Some of the available codes:

~r~ switch to color red

~y~ switch to color yellow

~w~ switch to color white

~b~ switch to color blue

I got a problem.

I was about to upload my best mission evar called You divided by zero.

The problem is that it says:

Error:Invalid mission file

Error:Invalid screenshot file

Invalid screen file

 

The mission file was DYOM8.dat and the screenshot was Bitmap Image format,it didnt work and i tryed JPEG format but still the same and Recaptha thingy was typed in perfectly.

The last mission was difficult to beat,cuz i was killing those outside,i completed it by going into CJ's house without killing those outside(i lose a lot of armor by killing outside+too many outside).

The mission pack is good,make some more.

I got a problem.

It was a combination of two factors:

• BMP files are not supported.( only png, jpg en gif, and only < 200Kb)
• The upload script wasn't prepared for missionfiles with lowercase ".dat" extension.

Switching to jpeg still left the second problem, but that has now been fixed, so you should be able to upload it now (with jpeg screenshots)

 

 

Also, the Upload Website has been extended to accept ZIP en RAR archives for mission-packs.

Uploading it to this site instead of general free uploadservices has the advantage of reaching a much wider audience, as this site is also promoted on several other websites is o.a. France, Germany, The Netherlands and Japan.

I didn't post here for some time because i improve my little brother DYOM mission pack (i can't upload them on the site because they are not in english, my brother has 10 years old but he got some great ideas, maybe in future i will translate). Let that!

I want to make a new mission pack but i need actors so if someone want to be an actor in my mission pack let here a post like that:

Looks like the file you try to upload is too large, how big is the archive you're uploading, bytewise?

 

P.S. I'm in the process of getting the error-messages more descriptive, it hasn't been top-priority sofar

P.P.S. I've increased the maximum upload size to 200 KB now, which should more than suffice for all mission archive and screens.

Download the latest version (v2.1) from autogarage, it will have both features.

Demo Mission

There is a demo mission in the package. This mission is made by _KoE_Mzungu. Mission walkthrough:

 

You are a 'weekend soldier' and you had to leave your black Phoenix behind next to the Binco next to the railway. Left behind in a fight with Ballas and Los Satos Vagos. This Phoenix is very special, besides the emotional value (it was a gift), this Phoenix has a couple of unique features:

- very strong

- fire proof

- bullet proof

- damage proof

- explosion proof

- invurnable tires

But it won't be easy to reach your Phoenix: Grove Street is scattered with groups of armed Ballas and Los Santos Vagos. In order to assist you you'll have to call the aid of two neighbors / colleagues. But it can never happen that the value of a car can overclass that of the life of a good neighbor, so make sure they stay alive. You'll start the mission in The Johnson House with brass knuckles, there's an armor and three weapons (knife, pistol and SMG) which might be usefull. Your collegues will also have an SMG and will help you with your mission, these collegues will react the same way as recruted homies would do in the original game. So you will be able to give them instructions to follow [G] or to stay [H]. When you reached your Phoenix all you have to do is drive it back home and put it into your garage, walk back into the house and you'll pass this mission.

No, these are just some properties that can be set for any vehicle that your spawn with this mod.

Just immunities and health, no specials weapons or abilities. The fact that a Black Phoenix was chosen here, is purely coincidence and has nothing to do with your mod .
