Why is that hard to understand? This can't be the first multi-dvd PC game that isn't all FMV. Also, what's new about the user radio station is that is has the name of a radio station and a DJ. Before it either said "cassette deck" or "user track player" (can't think of what it said in GTA3) and only had commercials (in SA). Look for it and you'll understand how the disc itself problably just say 8.30GB (more or less). A second disc with about 2GB might not be strange but think before posting. so why are you getting the pc version of this game? the most they can do is lossless data compression. unless you want those not so good console textures. GTA3Freak-2001 Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 May I remind people in regards to the "Known Issues with ATI" it was pretty much similar to San Andreas on PC in that it too had some minor issues and glitches that in the end were either fixed or not that important to the enjoyment of the game. Hoping this congeals with my momo or we can change the steering to mouse combined with pedals; also needing the ability to "mouse-aim". Gotta have this sh*t or it's a waste of dough for me. Not using a pc pad either, the axises/throttles are usually 1/2 of what a PS3 pad's range is, or they're sparatic. Can't steer with 'A' and 'S'. Just makes the driving part of the game sh*t and toyish as steer left/right and accelerate/brake is all or nothing. Its not much different from the alpha issues in San Andreas where things like chain link fences and tree leaves will show sky coloured artifacts around the edge where its supposed to be transparent. I find it incredibly annoying when a game doesn't support windowed mode. In fact it has led to me never actually finishing games that don't have a windowed mode. During the day I have a lot of stuff going on and I like to keep my eye on the desktop so I play games in a windowed mode. Then late at night when I am chilling out, I whack the game into full screen and relax. It is not feasible for me to use a second monitor so I depend on windowed mode and get incredibly annoyed when it isn't supported. The support for windowed mode is patchy at best if you want I can list a further three titles that recently did not support windowed mode :- Bully Mercenaries 2 (but then this game barely supported fullscreen) Assassins Creed In fact a lot of the big hitters this year had patchy windowed mode support. Now here is the thing I don't find that out till I have BOUGHT the game. I personally believe if I buy a PC game it should support windowed by DEFAULT (ie we shouldn't even be having this debate). But it is pot luck as to which games do and which games don't. but i haft to say this to you. is downloading a file and copying and pasting it into a folder really that hard? i have done the dll thing. its harder to make a cup of coffee. you will spend more time installing sa than copying and pasting a fix. The issue isn't about downloading a mod to make the game work windowed, I have no problem with that. The problem is waiting for that mod to appear and then who is to say someone will bother making a windowed mode mod, after all even I will acknowledge it is a minority feature. This is why I was happy to see that GTA 4 will support windowed mode. Anyway this is my last word on the subject, honest guv'nor. If you want to add anything more then feel free (especially if you find away to get Tombraider Underworld running in windowed mode that is really bugging the hell out of me).
