gtafan550
Hi guys, I bought GTA 4 for the xbox 360 and the game is great. The graphics are simpy awesome but does anyone else think that the city feels empty. I went to Star Junction and it just feels so empty. The subway is also like that and various other parts of the city. Of course I don't want to be permanently stuck in traffic but it's missing something
Chargr
It depends what time of the day it is for the city to be empty, usually during the night. There will be sometimes where the streets are packed.
Stewerd
If this is a problem, buy the PC version. Then you can change the traffic density.

xNamexTakenx
Dude, there are so many topics like this. Use the search function. And why does everybody complain about there not being enough people in IV's Liberty City?

SpeedyRasta
Sometimes during the late, late night Liberty City can feel a little lonesome. But, for the most part during the morning, day and afternoon the streets can get very packed (especially in Algonquin). Looking back to playing any of the previous GTA games there is a huge improvement to the number of pedestrians and cars that are on screen at one time. I also think traffic is handled much more realistically in GTA IV. -SR

.:Alex:.
That picture represents the level I expect to see on that kind of street, but it's not even that full in the game. Star Junction is a ghost town, which is depressing. I notice the actual "ghost town" glitch, where absolutely no cars or peds appear occurs quite often. Even during the middle of the day. Bitola
It might seem empty, but thinking back to this...... This doesnt seem so empty Damn man, you took me way back. So many so called GTA fans are complaining about the game but look how much Rockstar has progressed with the Grand Theft Auto series. And you know what? I still don't down talk the other GTA's, I'd go play my GTA III right now completely stopping my gameplay on the GTA IV story if I had an actual working controller. Bitola
Gtafan are you out of your mind? I can't stand the amount of f*cking people in this game. When I restarted the story to get the under thirty hours achievement every turn I made I literally took out at least seven people in a group and that was just from a corner stop. That's why I prefer to do missions at night, it's better and it blends in with most of the missions. On another note, if you seriously feel lonely playing a game then please, go out more. Call up a family member you favor and talk for a while. I play the game to have fun then do what I have to do whether it be playing with my niece or going outside with a few buddies of mine. And if it's impossible for you to do that then get Xbox Live, simple as that.
FiliGTAFan
It might seem empty, but thinking back to this...... This doesnt seem so empty That's exactly what I was thinking. GTA III was a good game and didn't feel too empty, but now look at the pic of GTA IV and you see a huge difference. There must be something wrong with your GTA if it feels empty...
