Ravenwood
Yay. Online US retailer Gamestop has got a listing for a boxed version of Grand Theft Auto IV: Lost & Damned, which, according to the site, will be released on February 17 for $19.99 (about 13 quid). http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=202739
DjMiikkii
I doubt it. It is called "Downloadable Content" for a reason.... EDIT: My bad i got the idea now lol having the Token inside the case would be a good idea as its harder for some people to buy stuff online. And btw. Isnt Johnny Klebitz, Brucie's brother? last name is the same isnt it? Edited November 28, 2008 by DjMiikkii

Then what's the f*cking point? "- For people that don't have credit cards - For people that don't like to put their credit card details into their Live account - For people who want to give this as a gift - For retailers who want to actually have something to sell" Thanks to CVG member _Marty_. And why not just buy MS Points? Well, I guess the DLC will sell more if stores put the game on the shelves instead of just being there at the 360 marketplace. What do I know? Nico Bellic
i'll just say: BOX IT!!!
Dillinger8
This works out for me because I wasn't planning on giving Microsoft my details if I had to purchase over the Live marketplace or whatever. Whew. I was worried for a few seconds.

GTA3Freak-2001
I have a feeling there will be a proper boxed version later down the track, whether its GTA IV bundled with Lost and The Damned like Oblivion and its Shivering Isles Content or just a disc with the DLC that installs to your Xbox. jesus incognito
$35 for a couple of missions... Umm... it's actually $20. And how do you know it's only going to be a couple of missions? Have you seen it? Have you spoken with someone who's working on the game? Doubtful, because then you'd already know that R* announced that there will be new weapons, vehicles, music, multiplayer modes and story missions. How many of each is still up in the air, so we'll just have to wait and see before we can tell if it's worth it.
Grand Theft Auto Dude
$35 for a couple of missions... It's more than a 'couple of missions'. It will have way more than that (How much no one knows, but it's more than 2), as well as new vehicles, weapons, and MP modes.

Wow, I take take it from your sig, you are not quite EA's biggest fan If this was for PS3 (I don't have a 360), I would still not be very pleased. Like I have said on the DLC thread, the beauty of a physical media source is that you can take it back if it doesn't work, and you can sell it back, or trade it in, if/when you get bored of it. And I said a couple of missions, because R* have said somewhere that its like 10 more hours of gameplay.
jesus incognito
Ah, I see. Kiwi bucks! Sorry, my mistake R* had said that IV's story was supposed to be about 40 hrs of gameplay. DLC should be about 15 hrs. Since IV definitely had more than 6 missions (somewhere more in the ballpark of 70-80)... you do the math.
ChrisMathers3501
I for one hope they sell a boxed copy so I don't have to dick around with sh*t.

GT409
I like this idea, reminds me of the track packs available for Rock Band, buy it, then rip to your hard drive.
Gta Guy 108
It must be a disc with all the content on it, then you will have to download it to your hard drive, then connect online to validate your copy. I hope it won't be as bad like it was for IV on the pc...

You just download, put the original IV disc in the xbox and start playing.
GuruAskew
It's a box with a poster and a code in it. It's like a glorified Microsoft Points card.
mr.Dageron
I think that DLC can be converted to disc by modders. (For example, if it will be possible to open&edit x360 formats, converting from LIVE file will be easy). But it is bad that only owners of Xbox360 with iXtreme firmware will be able to run it
Turdist
They should give it to us for free by way of an appology....
the_regular_guy
Appology for what?
nicotin3
Appology for what? Having to wait so long for the PC version and get so many bugs . I would buy the 2 episodes for the PC later if they released both on a disk, microsoft could even publish it and the conversion should be simple and worth it. L&D is not just "missions", there is alot involved in their production, characters, dialog, animation, cutscenes..
sagemred
Appology for what? Probably for all the problems - lighting, shadows and FPS on PC, Xbox and PS3 freezing, "missing features" I wouldn't be surprised if TLAD was a total letdown. If RS can't make the game itself run sufficiently or w/e, then god help us with this DLC. I can see alot of problems comming with this DLC, and i'm just hoping that it doesn't make the game freeze more than it already does or something. but who knows, RS might pull off a miracle and actually take the time to make something work

Xbox and PS3 freezing I can't comment on the PS3 version, but i've never had any freezing issues on the X360 version.
