However, this time he is immediately captured by FIB operatives and taken into their system to work as a undercover cop. So now, you can be a gun slinging, dope selling killing machine AND a double agent! Imagine infiltrating some of the biggest crime lords organizations only to finally assassinate the top guy. I have thought the same things, I often wondered why they never put the main character as a Scottish person (R* are originally from Scotland), I would be all for an English gangster, Welsh or Irish (although Irish has been covered recently). Perosnally I liked Nico the best, it's dark and he has a mysterious background, although C.J was cool as well. An Obsese protagonist would be kinda fun! You would have to work out loads in the gym and eventually he becomes strong. A bit like in GTA San Andreas. Southwest- Mexican/Mexican American/Central American London- Brit/Irish/Jamaican Miami- Latino... maybe a Haitian or Jamaican might be ok too tho Chicago- Puerto Rican/Black To elaborate... GTA:Southwest would take place on the border... around like San Diego, Laredo, etc. The protagonist would be a Mexican or Central American guy working with gangs like the Surenos, Mexican Mafia, Texas Syndicate etc, as well as cartels like the Zetas in smuggling drugs, guns, money and people across the border. If you know anything about this situation in real life you might agree that a Central American would be better... the kinda situation between Niko (Eastern European) and the Russians is paralleled here with the Mexicans generally treating Central Americans like sh*t.... of course it could be too similar to GTAIV. GTA:London: I've always been a huge fan of Lock Stock, Snatch, and Layer Cake (haven't seen RockNRolla yet)... and the Getaway was fun but I feel like R* could make a much better take on this setting with their abilities in comedy, action, and drama (just like Guy Ritchie). He could be a Brit like Mark Hammond in the Getaway who I always thought was a good character... but an Irish guy living in the UK would be cool or a West Indian... either of those opens up the possibility of McReary or Jacob/Badman cameos GTA: Vice City: The new Vice City game would star a guy who's grown up in the slums of the city... probably a Latino, maybe a a West Indian. Similar to the Scarface storyline, but taking place in the modern world, the more metropolitan and diverse Miami. GTA:Chicago: Chicago, like LA, is a capital for gangbanging, so I definitely think that's the angle to take for this. I'm imagining a grittier more realistic take on what Saints Row tried to do. No more PC racially diverse gangs focused purely on cleaning up the hood and no crap plot and dialogue. Look into the history of The Black Gangster Disciples, Black P.
