Kelao
Huh? Playboy X's TV for sure. I realise this topic was probably about real life TV's, but seriously.
xNamexTakenx
The best TV? I dunno, mate. I have a 40" LCD TV and it looks excellent. It looks way better than my Standard TV. But, some people have said that 720 TVs are better (Mine is a 1080p). And they are right, in a way because around the edges, things look a bit fuzzy on my TV. But, mostly any HDTV is better for IV than Standard-Def.

It really goes by preference, what brand of tv have you been having good luck with in the past? How Big would you want it?. 1080p would cost more than a 720p, but i think 720p/1080i are really nice tv's. But if you have the money to spend for a Plasma or 1080p tv i would Hope it helps
Lord Illicious
what is the best Tv For Grand Theft Auto IV I have 2 of the top rated Panasonic Viera HDTVs out there. TH-PX42600U (600U not the 60U) - Plasma http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TH-42PX600...n/dp/B0019J8F6W Its the model before the PZ800U and PZ700U. 2006 model. TC-32LZ800 - LCD http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Viera-TC-3...27845006&sr=1-2 A 1080P 32 inch which im currently using for a PS3 and as my PC monitor. ---- The 32LZ800 LCD is the newest model from panasonic for 2008. Best LCD set ive ever seen. Rich darks, very vibrant, and ideal for gaming with so many features you couldnt believe. Incredible viewing angle! On all LCDs ive seen you always have to be directly infront of the set for you to see the picture. You can still see a great picture when viewing this set from a side angle which is very rare for LCDs. Now for the PX42600U Plasma. I seen other plasma TVs but this one is the very best. I will not dare to explain the details, just look up the reviews on this TV and youll find nothing but the highest ratings. Not for the gaming part: GTA on this thing looks like you went to gaming heaven. The picture looks so alive, sharp, crisp and clean. Super rich darks and vivid accurate colors. It beats the hell out of any LCD set and prolly most other Plasma out there. You havent seen GTA4 720p untill you seen it on this 42 plasma set. Sorry mate, couldn't resist... Have a cause I feel bad, kinda.

ItWasntMe
That's f**king hilarious! Go with adiohead, he has an apparent eye for top technology. Back on Topic... HD all the way. Plasma or LCD doesn't matter. It's just your budget that does.
Dear x Sergio
I've got a 32" Samsung Series 2 LCD and I love everything about it. It cost me $799 at Circuit City, and the 40" was priced at around $999. I keep it on 720p and every game I play including GTAIV looks incredible. I would recommend that you do NOT purchase a plasma, the obvious reason being that burn-in is the most horrifying thing to experience. Go with an LCD, I'd recommend Samsung as your brand of choice, but Sony and LG aren't bad brands at all. Just don't get a plasma.
