Anyway , let me explain what i wanna say :

We always had it , Console versions were released before the PC version , and that made the PC gamers pissed.

So my actual idea is , to put a few teams on each console!

then all versions can be released at same date , and idc about having to wait longer because they need more workers on the game etc....

 

just a rough idea that popped up in my mind , i felt like saying something good for the PC gamers too

What if the game sells sh*t on the consoles, and is destined to be an equal failure on the PC?

By simoultaneously working on the PC version, they have already spent time and money on the PC version, which might lose them more dosh.

 

Surely games makers gauge whether a PC port would be financially viable by looking at console sales?

 

I'm pretty sure console sells way more than PC.

Seriously.. we all know that GTA IV has multiplayer, which can only be played if you have an original copy of the game. And we all know that most of us wants to play multiplayer with other players.... so this time, I really think that R* can expect a huge sale number on their game.

Do you know why R* don't do a simultaneous console and PC release? Its to make money, as in they make it exclusive to the consoles or one console making those who would normally buy the PC version buy the console version knowing full well they will also buy the PC version when it comes out at a later date. It maximizes their profits, it might be a bit greedy and cause many of us to curse their name but its how they do it.

The difference though lloydo was that Half life 2 was a PC franchise first and foremost, just like GTA was before Sony chucked money at Rockstar. So why should console owners expect a PC franchise to be on their machine anymore than PC owners expect a console franchise on their machine.

 

I never expect console franchises to come to the PC and the vast majority of console franchises do not interest me anyway. However GTA started on the PC it was a PC franchise before Sony made it timed exclusive therefore I think it is fair for PC gamers to expect that game on their PC.

That was back in the mid-late 1990's for god sake, & It was never PC exclusive even back then. let it go already... It's has never been exclusive to any platform. Ever. I think most people assume that even this seemly untouchable DLC will be on PC by next christmas.

Then most people will be wrong, Rockstar have already stated the DLC is EXCLUSIVE to the 360. In fact Rob Nelson the guy in charge of the PC version was asked directly if the PC will get the DLC and he stated :-

Neither the PC nor the PS3 is getting the exclusive DLC, I really have to wonder why this is such a damn difficult concept for people to accept.

Actually, in a previous interview a Rockstar official hinted at PC exclusive DLC. So we might have our own DLC for all we know . . .
