No, I don't agree with that price. Even though I have a PS3 and won't be getting DLC, I think it should be free. If DLC ever comes to PS3, it should be free. With 360, you have to pay for everything!

It's half a GTA game, how the hell can it be free? And last time I looked, the PSN charged too.

Even though I don't have a 360, I think that price might be fair because it adds quite a lot of new things but I;m not really so sure.

I think it should be cheaper. I mean R* is already getting $25 million for this DLC from MS ($50 mil is the total for both DLC episodes, so $25 mil per), so why charge that much? Or is that set by MS so they can get most of the money back that they paid to R*, not that they get enough money from its console owners anways. Either that or R* somehow let the development of this DLC balloon over $25 million and needs to charge for the DLC to make that money back.

I think many will wait till they buy the dlc.

 

When released it will hit the net with most the details and then and there you will see what people have to say about the $20 content.

Personally for a $20 dlc i think the option to buy a disk expansion of it should be strictly optional.

Meaning it shouldnt only be avalable by digital downloads.

Downloads always have that crap about only 5 total downloads which is bullsheet.

360 can crash with a chance of corruption to the HDD, reformats, bugs, anything and your out $20.

Well Microsoft said it would be up to Rockstar if they wanted to charge money for this episodes or not. So the price is Rockstars idea

I really dont think this is true at all, and would love to see a link.

 

The general understanding is R* is being paid $50m dollars for the two episodes, so they have already been paid, MS are the ones setting the price.

We are talking a whole new character to play with their own set of missions, not some poxy little addon that adds a few minor things! Of course we should be paying for it, I mean its almost comparable to the Liberty City and Vice City Stories. Did you expect them to be free?

1600 MS points is standard for a DLC of this size.

 

So yeah, I'm glad it's not like the Double Pack for Lost Odyssey which is 156 kb in size, contains two extra weapons for the game (yes, that's all) and costs 99 999 points or roughly $150.

 

 

 

 

Well, alright, the Lost Odyssey DLC's price is a bug that has been on marketplace before.. but it still hasn't been fixed! The triple pack costs 200 MSP.
