GTASIX
The worst ever thing they could do is do something on christmas eve, day, or boxing day. That would be f*cking horrible. (to any terrorists reading, the real worst day to do something would be february the 30th, so do it then)
Vanilla Shake
Apparently this is a warning for throughout the holiday season, and its been "planned" since September. f*ck it. I'm riding the subway no matter what. Here's a video about it that I found. Link TC718 / <629 / CF5
swolo yaggins
(to any terrorists reading, the real worst day to do something would be february the 30th, so do it then) Unfortunately, the terrorists aren't so f*cking stupid as to fall for your clever deception of a date that doesn't exist. 5192:12.3.02LM/SSHmkl
Eddie280
Well you have to think about it this way: Terrorist are always planning something and the majority of the time security services are stopping anything from a suicide bombing to an assassination attempt without us(or the media) even knowing. If it has gotten to this point whereby the authorities are forewarned of a possble attack then that's pretty encouraging. It's less likely that the attack will succeed. A similar attack was foiled in London in 06 I think. A terrorist cell had plans to detonate a huge bomb on a train as it passed under the Thames this would have the Thames to flood in through the broken tunnel and water log the entire system. Could have caused thousands of deaths and paralysed London's transport network for months. Scary stuff.
Mad Tony
Yes, our beloved Department of Homeland Security that has made us all feel very safe indeed must be right. Of course we must trust everything that they say because if we don't we will certainly be killed by vicious TERRORISTS.[/sarcasm] There may very well be some violent act but it there were I wouldn't doubt it's the works of the Department of Homeland Security or its sister organisations. Just remember... "Those who would give up a little Liberty for a little Security, will deserve neither, and lose both." - Benajmin Franklin I'm an ignorant patriot whose ideas are not to be critiqued. I altered someone's post to draw attention away from the fact that I'm a f*cking retard. Fixed. Seriously though, I actually thought that little exchange was pretty amusing. You said something, he made it obvious that he disagreed, you immediately jumped to calling him ignorant and insinuating that he was the one who couldn't take criticism. Irony? Basically what I was gonna say. Not buying into the conspiracy theories doesn't make me ignorant, nor does it have anything to do with me being patriotic. This isn't the first time I've been called ignorant for not buying into this kind of thing.

No, but you drole on and on about "other's conspiracy theories" like you are some kind of expert....an expert that refuses to look at anykind of research that doesn't support your own predertermined conclusions, before you even look at them. Hell, many of us don't really care how things go for the most part and life is just a ride that is full of changes that rarely surprise us lest we close our minds to the possiblities that surround us. Your "There are no such things as conspiracy" is hilarious because the whole world has spun on different forms of conspiracy since the dawn of civilization. Sanction has usually been about the same and "All the world is a stage.........." You do not critique that which you ignor and in truth you demonstrate a vital position that is used worldwide to great effect from classical debate course. Your position? Invincible Ignorance Which as usual also denotes the proclaiming of others ignorance and crying Red Herring as a form of distraction and therefore a transposed Red Herring in and of itself. Because the use of Invincible Ignorance as a position that others accept your claim that others are ignorant without any proof. You ignore any proof or evidence that others provide, inconsequentially, in the name of," MY POSITION IS SUPERIOR and YOURS INFERIOR, REGARDLESS OF MY LACK OF EVIDENCE OR THE DISMISSAL OF YOURS". Only the ill use of Invincible Ignorance does that in debate.[/b] I mean, really,"Who are we to question the gods?" I bet you don't even have a clue what I just said in very plain speach for anything political. To assume that others hold a position that you deem they do without a line of questioning and investigation does not follow a line of logic that supports any kind of knowledge, regardless of the issue. Disinformation and Reverse Disinformation is a media standard that we are not past yet in the "civilized world", unfortunately. The use of Dialectic is a rather broad and obvious route to control most opinions and attitudes of people. Like yours, Mad Tony, for instance. I've told you about 10 times already, just because I don't buy into your conspiracies doesn't mean I'm ignorant or see my opinion as superior. I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job, I don't believe there is a secret Freemason conspiracy to take over the world and I don't believe any of the other crap that comes out of Alex Jones' mouth. However, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm not gonna stop you. Just accept that I don't buy into this sort of thing and get over it. Vive La France
NYPD and MTA police already have the authority to randomly search peoples bags and detain them for nothing more than being on MTA property. This is a huge abuse of power as it is and I can only imagine what sort of batsh*t crazy policies they'll enact to "protect" the system now that there's been a direct threat. I don't know what the f*ck is going on in America, the military industrial complex used to be a beast that you just didn't f*ck with. The CIA can cripple South America democracies and install despots, they can kill populist leaders and replace them with fundamentalist dictators (Iran anyone) but they can't f*cking kill one dude in a cave in Pakistan? Terrorists around the world are wearing smug f*cking smiles knowing that they got away with one of the largest mindf*cks in history and they'll keep coming in hordes until somebody does something about it. Imagine what would happen without it, though. The thing is, it is an unfortunate price to pay for safety. And I myself value my life over a search of my bag. Yeah but that's like wearing a foot thick styrofoam suit just because there is the possibility of getting hit by a bus. There's many ways one can die, cities in general tend to be dangerous places, while I agree a little security is essential for order... under the Bush era it's stepped on peoples toes to the extent where they can't sh*t without clearing it with homeland security. They should focus resources to putting an actual face on the enemy and eradicating them. No, it's more like wearing a helmet while riding a bike. The thing is, you would prefer to give up pretty much most of the security you have for the added convenience of no bag searches? Seriously, I'm fine with it. Oh, yeah, and anyone who thinks that a club of independent contractors is running the government is nuts. kerouac.
@HolyGrenadeFrenzy - As far as I can tell you're the only one flaming here. Rather than calling everyone ignorant for not subscribing your views, why don't you rather elaborate on them and defend your position? All I see here is a lot of hot air and no credible arguments. As for "selling out" (which has NOTHING to do with the topic); you live in a consumerists society, you are using an internet forum dedicated to a consumable product (one that parodies our society but a consummable nonetheless) therefore you are a CONSUMER and just as much of a "sell out" as anyone else here. So either relocate to a corrugated metal shack in cuba, or shut the f*ck up.
