GTA_dog
So we should all know by now that there is a new pack coming out exclusively for the Xbox 360. The biggest question that was asked (according to this page): How can we change characters? I think that the saved game we had with Niko will always be there and when we download the new pack the game starts out as a new story line the Johnny instead of Niko. Maybe in the saved game area there will be a new menu that shows up asking to start a new game>Selecting your character. Sounds pretty iffy and lame but that's just one thought on starting a new game. R* wouldn't get rid of there newest (and last year's) next gen protagonist, no way! Discuss this. chitoryu12
Well, the DLC packs are said to fill the same roles as the Vice City and San Andreas games in the series. It could be possible it would be done like Xox Live Arcade games or demos, where you go to your library and select it from the list to start the game. Grand Theft Auto Dude
I think when you download it, you resume as Niko, but when you make a new game, you select an option of either 'GTA IV', or 'GTA IV: Lost and Damned'. The L&D files will go along normally with the main story files, and when you start the game, you will start in the last saved file, so there aren't any menus to stop you from getting straight into the game. GTA3Freak-2001
This is being discussed in the actual GTA IV forum since Lost and the Damned is the first DLC for GTA IV not GTA NeXt.
