GamerShotgun
I guess I'm not the only one here wondering why there isn't a feature to take screenshots from the game.. Even Midnight Club: LA had it, and I can't figure out why would Rockstar North cut it from the game. It's really obvious that they wanted to include it in the game, because Niko's cellphone which we get from Playboy X later on has a camera in it. So why is this? I mean.. they could have just implemented a feature like this, so Grand Theft Auto related site administrators wouldn't been forced to buy an expensive piece of hardware for their computers, to create screenies for tutorials, articles, walkthroughs and other stuff. Am I the only one who thought that the guys at Rockstar Games don't really seem to care about their fans? They are just using us to get more sales for GTA IV, which I can understand, but I find it funny how they ignore us :S
Dear x Sergio
Either they're planning to include in the dlc or the next gta, or they didn't feel it was perfected yet. In today's day in age, taking pics in a game isn't worth it unless you are able to share it with others. They might've not had a upload site or file share system ready yet. Or they didn't feel like it. Who knows really?
mr_bungle
well you can make up for it with the reply editor in the PC version.
evilrex
They should of linked the camera system up with the Socail Club, so we can view the pictures we've taken ingame on there.
GamerShotgun
Either they're planning to include in the dlc or the next gta, or they didn't feel it was perfected yet. In today's day in age, taking pics in a game isn't worth it unless you are able to share it with others. They might've not had a upload site or file share system ready yet. Or they didn't feel like it. Who knows really? Probably.. But I'm pretty sure they could have done something and update the game with a patch, just like they did when it had those crashing problems in the beginning. I like the guys at R* Games, and I need to agree they've done a pretty impressive game, but it's just annoying how one little feature which've been left out the game could be so important. @Stink_Fist: Look, it's okay that you are waiting for the PC version... so do I. But I'm just talking about that the game lacks of cool features, which I'm pretty sure they wanted to include. I just can't get the reason why they cut them from the game. Either the media did a big mistake on including non-implemented features in their reviews/previews, or developers made a big mistake by unreleasing lots of them. We all know GTA IV could have been the best console TPS ever, but now - although I can't understand why - everyone is talking about Saint's Row 2, and how better is it in gameplay, than what GTA IV can offer to players. GTA IV is a revolutionary game in the industry, but the lack of gameplay elements are just making me feel that the game isn't finished yet. And no.. I'm not bashing GTA IV, because I still play it and love it. They should of linked the camera system up with the Socail Club, so we can view the pictures we've taken ingame on there. That's what I've been trying to explain. If MC:LA had this feature, I'm sure that GTA IV could have it too Edited November 26, 2008 by MasterK
