San Andreas DIFFICULT game to complete?

I think the game was easy enough to pass. Sure there were some that took more than a few goes to pass, but they weren't difficult.

The first time through, i didn't cheat, then i've completed in 7 more times alternating between cheating and non-cheating.

Now, i just have two saves, one cheating save and the other a non-cheating save.

On the non-cheating save im on 99.47%.

The cheating one is just after completing Storyline.

I have never beat SA to 100% before. But now I'm doing it without cheats as well. I only have the LS courier, all the remaining tags and 11 oysters or something. 98,40%

Only really struggle with the flight school, generally takes me a few goes to do NOE but other than that I can do pretty much everything if not first time then certainly second. Except Zero's missions that is, can't do those for love nor money.

Bloodbowl can be bloody frustrating, but not as much as the wheelie.

right now wheelie weave is pissing the hell outta me
abso-f*cking-lutely

completed the bloodbowl within 3 tries.... 2nd level was impossible though.... but wheelie weave, i probably need to engage SnP services if I ever wanna get gold... though it would be great if someone could teach me... i've watched countless videos n read up on it.... stll hopeless tounge.gif

Getting all golds in Driving School on my 100% save file was pretty frustrating.

Damn I hated Burn and Lap, it took me like 500 tries or so suicidal.gif , God knows how I managed to land 35 seconds in the end.

Neither have I.

I have to collect every single Oyster. Then i'll have completed it, first time ever.

I am really hoping to do this tomorrow.

BloodBowl was always easy for me... I can pretty much get it 1st attempt any time I try it.

But yeah, I've never managed All golds on either Driving School or Flying School. confused.gif

You are inhuman. I never completed Flying School, got my brother to do it for me.

I also got stuck on Wrong Side of The Tracks for awhile, but once you figure out where you have to go, its easy.

Could you tell me exactly what the hard bits were?

Was it a specific test?

Flying in general?

What platform do you play on?

I only ask this because i find it a bit too easy. I'd like it to be as hard for me as it seems for other people.

I can always get 100% on everything.

If on PS2, dont get out of control by moving the analog stick erradically, just light, smooth movements will make it more handleable.

Passing flying school is a piece of cake, but getting gold on all might be hard. I have never tried myself. But it's worthy for the Hunter.

How? Is there a secret to it?

I've often passed it (1st level only) but it always seems to be more by luck than judgement.

If you get a few targets lining up nicely in a row, then you can pass.

If you don't, I can usually stay alive for some time, but if those targets don't line up right then I'll eventually run out of time

SA missions are pretty challenging if compare with 3, VC, and IV. Especially the Zero missions are pretty hard and annoying.

Meh, Zero's missions are the easies ones.

Now, the one in Vice where you stormed the drug factory in Little Haiti, or the one where you had to drive Enforcer for 5 mins in GTA 3 - that's what I call difficult.

Trojan Voodoo from Vice City, hard? You kidding right? If anything the hardest mission on VC was the one where u set bombs in the middle of a construction using a RC chopper (Demolition Man). And in GTA3, Kingdom Come, now that's what I call a hard mission.

To get 100% does that mean uve basically done every last mission etc available?

Yes, to get 100%, you must pass every mission available, all side-missions, buy safehouses, tags, oysters, snapshots, horseshoes etc.

To get a better understanding, check out this topic: 100% Checklist.

@FnB: I know, Flying school is ridiculously easy, even getting golds is easy enough.

I assume you play on PC?

On PS2, there's that whole thing with the RC plane's fuel running out too fast. I basically ended up taking out the first two targets, and then sitting on my arse till the others turned up; there's literally no other way I could do it. Also, I have sausage fingers, so controlling the analog sticks well enough to shoot the attacking planes is a 'mare for me.

Done from the fourth time. tounge.gif

Isn't there some kind of driving backwards trick for PS folks?

I couldn't fly for sh*t in VC. Couldn't do Demolition Man, Dildo Dodo, or any of the two flying RC missions. Then, I played SA. Learned how to fly helis and planes in GTA. Then Demolition Man and Dildo Dodo in VC were a piece of cake.

My flying skills upgraded when I first played VCS. I don't know why, but it seemed to be easier to handle a chopper/plane on ps2 than on PC. I remember long time ago I tried to do N.O.E and the plane exploded just as I was trying to take off.

Nope, doesn't work. I'm trying to remember.... Something to do with two different versions of SA for PS2, and the most common one has the fuel glitch. On my version at least, if you try and do the whole mission flying, you will run out of fuel way too early. Pain in the arse. icon14.gif

anything in vc is a cake to me... mayb cuz i played it over n over too many times... except for driver perhaps....

wheelie weave in SA is killing me though... n chiliad is irritating too... cuz i gotta climb up that duck mountain everytime i fail the mission, and just one tiny mistake hit a rock n the bicycle spins around.... pisses the hell outta me... im on airfield missions now so prob that will agitate me even more...

Yeah, the driving backwards works for one of the versions.

I have the original version 1 and im pretty sure it doesn't have the fuel glitch. It used to give me trouble, that mission, then i taught myself tricks about it and i can do it with a snall bit of fuel left.

its much easier with pc... strangely even though the absence of analog control is a big disadvantage w regards to vehicle control...

pilot school gold was also completed within 2 saves this time around... so things def get easier with prac....

It's difficult sometimes on PC...for instance with my keyboard it's basically impossible to complete driving and flying schools. Other than that it was pretty easy. However , I thought it was so hard when I first played it that I put on cheats. Now that I'm retrying the game without cheats , I see how easy the game was. cry.gif

I don't think it was that hard. On the ps2, I failed in several missions because the aiming is kinda hard with the analog stick.

But when I got to play it on the PC, I finished it much easier.

Yup, absolutely, a lot depends on luck in this mission. In higher levels it's still hard to get past the first minute mark. Once you're higher, the time still fluctuates a lot according to lucky and unlucky streaks.
