DrDooMBrain
Real cheap card but will this run gta4 on a good frame rate? ECS 8600GT 512MB DDR2 DVI VGA TV Out PCI-E Graphics Card http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149369 only 41 quid, I can't justify spending more than 60 quid on a card just to play this game. Jim
That will probably meet minimal requirements for GTA IV, and will probably run it at a decent framerate at around low-medium. Step it up a bit to a 8800GT or 9600GT and you should be good to go.
Democrab
It would be worth paying a bit extra for a 8800GT or a 9600GT, those are the recommended specs and should play it medium-high at least.

Please don't buy that, i used to have it and it sucked. The GPU JUST managed Crysis on minimum, it has horrendous VRAM speeds and crap bandwidth, ignore. Go for the 9600 GT. Tommy-Vercetti19
yeah id fork out the extra for the 8800GT what about a ASUS EAH3850 512mb? will that be any good?
Jim
That would do just fine. That would actually perform a bit better than a stock 9600GT. If that's within your price range, go for it. I still recommend going for a 9600GT regardless, because I personally wouldn't buy an ATI card. I'm more for NVIDIA.
