I was so excited out of my head my days passed between playing with friends and watching GTAIV videos, writing in GTAIV forums and posting. The game actually made me post regularly in a new forum (this one of course ) and made my friends furious when I decided to babble to them about the game. After 2-3 weeks the excitement went away for good (because it was driving me mad) and I lived a happy life without torturing myself to the wait. And today - as I glanced at the Release Date Countdown my eyes and heart froze - there is actually less than a week left until the game is out. Can you realize this? We just need to pass through this week and next week guess what - Nico Bellic will grace the PC monitors for the first time. And hell yes - it's gonna be played. And all that excitement came back in an instant. I want to watch GTAIV videos again. I want to play the game so bad I want to steal it. I really really can't f*cking wait for the game. Can you? But i got my thoughts off the game aswell, cause theres no sense in waiting each day for a game wich comes out in some months. However, around 1 months ago i got excited again cause i thought it comes out on the 21st. Then the big "down", waiting two more weeks. This just let me keep excited longer (maybe that is what R* intended) and now when theres only 1 week left i think of the game each day a couple of times, and i check forums for news and all. But im also a bit worried how it will run(8600gt xxx), because then i have to wait till January to save money and buy a new gpu I was excited for November and then they delayed it and i heard about lag and the minimal system requirements and my excitement slowly died. But now i am really excited. But the time is going slower. School days are getting longer and longer, hours are getting slower and slower Wait, is the game even gold yet? Now I'm debating whether I should pre-order it, or count on my local supermarket to get it on the release week. I've got a 50/50 chance, basically. If I pre-order it I can be sure I get to play it on the 5th of December...on the other hand I might get my hands on it few days earlier IF my local supermarket does have it on the release date. I'm only at home on weekends (studies) so if I go with the supermarket and fail, I need to wait another week to play. Edit: Pre-ordered I decided to play it safe and pre-order in case they run out of copies. So I'll be playing it on the 5th, that's not so bad I guess.
