Not played GTA4 yet (console)

i haven`t played it either, i don`t have a console and anyways i really wanted to play it on the PC so i waited, and now, when we`re a week before the game is released, it has been worth it

Never played it myself or physically been in a room of someone playing it. I've pretty much just poured over the trailers and screen shots and been on youtube. I've managed to avoid anything that could even hint at a tiny spoiler though, I tell you these days it takes real skill to avoid the idiot blabbermouth that uses the logic "omg!111!1! its on consoles so anyone that was gonna play it has already !1!1111 - u 2 cheap to buy console 1!!1!1".

 

I've been watching all the GTA IV midnight release videos on youtube. It's good fun to finally being able to join in the excitement of obtaining GTA IV .

I've never played it or seen it being played on a console. Why would I want to see a crippled version of the game?

 

For me GTA has still been in development all this time and this December is the true release of GTA 4. Good things come to those who wait.

I haven't played it on Playstation 3 or XBOX 360, cause i have no console and not want to buy one, it is not worth

I prefer to play this Game on PC (Keyboard, Graphic, Performance, Mods, MP3 Radiostation, Replay Feature)

Never even touched a copy. Why spoil it on a sub-par console version when the PC version will be far more superior? Since It hasn't been spoiled, my first time ever playing the game will be amazing.

Tested some missions on a friends X-box ... couldn´t aim, couldn´t walk/run straight, kept honking the horn (think it was on "press down left stick" or something)

 

You DO know it was just your disablility, not the game lacking anything? i'll leave you guys to your topic, as I'm a console player, I'd like just to get it straight: the controls are just of what the player is used to, BUT driving on the analog stick and accelerating on the trigger is much, much more precise than on a keyboard. Then again, aiming in FPS games is more precise on a PC mouse. Almost all of my mates either don't play at all or are console gamers, with exception for one guy, he's a PC gamer. He's a cool guy, plays almost the same games as me (Far Cry 2 lately). And you know why I'm telling you this? He plays on a x360 controller. I know I'll be flamed, but whatever, I just couldn't resist to straighten it up.

No, i don't know anyone with a 360 or ps3 and never saw a demo kit in a store, so besides watching youtube videos and screenshots i never played gta4. I was tempted to buy a console back in april though, but glad that i didn't because by now i would've get bored with gta4, or not, anyway i am not much of a gamer besides gta and i can't play with a controller, so i can't wait till next week, although i am not sure if i can run it on medium settings at a normal resolution.

I know some guys who managed to go through something like 20 half liter bottles in one setting. My personal record would be around 4 liters. I think it was Tuborg, but obviously I don't remember

Gamepad gameplay usually requires auto-aim and fewer enemies for the average player to survive...with a mouse it's as simple as point and click. Sadly, I highly doubt they're going to add more enemies, and giving NPCs more health would just take some fun off of murderous rampages later on in freeplay.
