My roomate has a 360 and when he got it, I had to just drive around for a few minutes. He took the controller back soon after I started talking down to the console. The framerates were sluggish and controls just didn't feel as responsive due to that. The other thing was, I had to move the chair up to the tv because it seemed very blurry. Anyway, I gave him back the controller and said "GTA IV will come out for PC, I'll wait" and havent touched it since. I did like the way the water moves when your drive a car into it, but that taxed the console a lot. I cant wait for the Dec. 3! I've been following GTA 4 since the news broke it was being made. Seems so long ago now and have been so many ups and downs regarding the PC version. I like to play GTA with rules (traffic rules etc), then all crimes I commit are more exciting. Of course I do what I want to do, but when you kill pedestrian for thousand time it is not the same like in beginning. I want to explore game with small steps. I think using keyboard and mouse will give more control to Niko and his actions. PS:I wanted to buy an Xbox360 Arcade ,in my country, Romania costs about 700 LEI which means about 240$, but i quit just a week b4 the game was announced on PC. Mike0 Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Only when the game comes to PC and people get to play it on PC, will the true picture of GTA IV be shown. Respect is built over time. And time has shown that GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas were quality games. GTA IV is also a quality game, just for the story, "GTA vibe", soundtrack, and amount of production in the game. But if we go into technical gaming details, GTA IV plays "slower" than previous GTAs, the driving is too sim-ish if you ask me. But I think we will get used to it. Good thing is Games For Windows certificate, official multiplayer, achievements, and the default ability of the PC version to be maxed out on fast hardware. Finaly we also get a GTA which at least aims for realistic graphics, as opposed to the too-simple graphics of the GTA3 era. Although GTA3 looks very realistic because of its dark color pallete. We will have to see about modability. Currently, regarding multiplayer, I think GTASA with MTASA/SAMP beats GTA IV multiplayer.
